@ejamer

Just finished it & I did! Still some locked achievements, but I'm not worrying about all that.

Dammit ejamer now you got me doing it!

Shantae: Risky's Revenge(Director's Cut) - Steam

As fun as this game is, one part reaffirms my dislike of coffee. I know I have one of the sequels from the WiiU eshop. If I ever finish this, I should give that a go one of these days.

Already have the original 3 times over. Might grab this on a sale.

Not in love with it, but not ready to trade it in yet either. My main gripe is when opponents get into that 45 degree sweet spot where they're able to attack me while I whiff everything until they knock/throw me down & I get back up to face them again.

Guess I still need more practice & maybe a change in button layout to really get into this game.

Anyone know what will happen to any points left in our accounts? Managed to zero out my points a few years back but I'm still wondering about that.

Come to think of it, I should probably double check to see if I have everything downloaded or re-bought on the WiiU myself.

The Rebirths were cool but I think my fav Wiiware than never got ported over might have been Zombie Panic in Wonderland. Solid rail shooter. Plus it came out not too long after the DS game Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ so it felt like a I was playing a sequel of sorts.

Because they turn into a fluid? I get it! lol I know a lot of guys like myself use the girl inkling & you can freely change back & forth in the settings so I suppose it fits.

I'm not upset, just curious. I remember Spongebob was recurring theme in the original.

Since my job has moved back into our old building, old rules are back where we have a ban on devices that record or potentially connect to the internet. This leaves out my 3DS, but I dug out my GBA SP & since the jerk boss that banned that for no reason no longer works here, we're back in action! With only a 30min lunch, I've been leaving the deeper games at home. Still...

Metal Slug Advance- Apparently using actual controllers on Wii & PC have spoiled me because I'm struggling on the first boss of this game when I know I got further than this back when I first got it.

Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo- Still don't like the game, still suck at it, but until I can find where I put Kirby's Star Stacker...

Can someone explain to me what is up with all the gay posts in Inkopolis lately? Is this a new meme I'm not getting? 'Cause according to Google, Gay Pride month isn't until June.

Looks like the next NA Splatfest is the age-old debate of Chicken vs Egg.

My friends and I have decided on Team Egg, but we're not sure if all of us can make it at the same time. Is there anyone here who would like to try joining our Team Egg team? We don't really care about winning, just having fun, so anyone is welcome.

I'll be on & off throughout the event. This is my first Splatfest since the final in the original so it should be interesting.

Deep Space Waifu- Flat Justice (PC)

Don't look at me like that! Space shooters that aren't pure Bullet Hell are hard to find these days.

HD remake of Disaster: Day of Crisis redone with traditional controls.
Seiken Densetsu 3. Yes, I know it's on the Switch in Japan, but a western release is long overdo.
Goemon's Great Adventure
Virtual On. I don't know which one, but using 2 joycons to control the mech would bring back that twin-stick arcade feel I so miss.

Plan on getting a Switch this year so going on a farewell tour with the original Mario Kart 8 lately. Glad to see things are still pretty active online despite Deluxe's release.

Never got passed that "free" day in the second act so unsure if I'd bother. Still, cool to see the game get some attention again.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: What are your thoughts on the 3DS at this point?

Have a pretty healthy backlog of 3DS/DS titles so I don't really need anything new on it but there are a few titles floating around that I've been considering.

Honestly, I should be playing it more. Not getting another Monster Hunter until I at least finish the caravan quests in MH4U.

Been playing my 3DS with headphones to distract myself from flies & annoying co-workers during lunch break lately. Finally got around to beating Kirby Triple Deluxe 2 weeks ago. Now it's all about looking for those darn stars. Ended a long hiatus from Monster Hunter 4U yesterday though.

On the home front it was Muramasa: The Demon Blade on Wii before Pinball FX 3 came out on PC.

It's unfortunate that the Wii shop didn't become integrated into the Wii U shop, similar to the way almost all DSiWare is on the 3DS shop and can still be purchased and re-downloaded even though the DSi shop closed. It has quite an extensive catalogue of classic games that would have been nice on Wii U, plus a few WiiWare gems.

Indeed. I would have been content if everything would have came over like some of their VC games where you had to rebuy them at a discount. I don't think any of my NeoGeo VC games went to the WiiU let alone Contra & Castlevania Rebirth. Though with Miiverse ending too it's too little too late now.

Not too bad a year... As long as I play something at least once a month I'm getting some value out of paying for it.

I seem to only do well with the early morning crowd & night owls. Anywhere in between & it's lop-sided losses & disconnects everywhere.

Aye. Think the last time might have been back in Tri. What do you think of Splatoon so far? Don't forget to play the offline single player game to unlock some weapons via finding blueprints.
