Nintendo Gaming / RE:Spider man

i plyed that one too but  much more so liked the last adventure on the cube, the web swinging was a blast. and the new one looks even better, the camera works more so how it does in the movie so it should be  fun to watch and play hopefully.

General Gaming / RE:2 cubes in less then 6 months? why me?
« on: February 06, 2004, 12:59:38 PM »
ok, update!!!!

so far this day has been hell.

i am so pissed about fed Ex, i am going to write Nintendo and tell then to switch to UPS.

i had to go to two different fed Ex locations and still never got a printed label or printed reciept. i stayed on hold myself inbetween these two locations for over 30 minutes. waiting to find  out what was the problem.

hell i almost just said screw it and paid to have the cube sent UPS intstead.

the online system fed Ex has is horrible, a waste of time. i could have made enough money  to buy multiple cubes in the time it took for me to  deal with getting mine shipped out.

and still it will not go out till monday and i have to take the word of the people at the local center that over the weekend it will not get misplaced while waiting for fed Ex to show up with a label.

this is not directly nintendo's fault but it does not represent them well at all......

ok, hopefully this is coming soon, i know i am without cube fr a week or two but  this is on my list.
i personally enjoyed the 1st one , i know  a lot of people did not but i  thought it was the best spider man game made to date and from the looks of the next one it is even better from what i have seen.

anyone have any updates on it's progress so far?

ha h ah, yeah i feel it already, my cube is all bundled up sitting there in  buble wrap. lol.

worst thing is i just bought a new game for it. beyond good and evil and never even got to see it turn on. lol

so today i bring the boxed up cube to a suggested fed Ex location for free drop off.
stage one will be complete in a couple hours.

i'll keep ya posted on how long it takes to get back.

well so far so good.

i think i will post on here to keep all of you updated as to how this progresses.

1st, yes my system was still under warentee, all checked out and it was registered when sold to me.

today i will be packaging it up as requested by the web site that i used nintendo.com . i have a regestered account there which made this easier by far to do this.

i was told the return time would be 5-7 days , i assume that is from when they receive it so  i'm hoping 10 days  total of being cubeless.

as i hear more i will keep you posted. i have heard wonderful things from you all on nintendo's customer service so  keeping my fingers crossed that i receive that same great service.

thanks

« on: February 04, 2004, 02:56:35 PM »
Well I had my original  cube since launch and about 5-6 months ago it died on me, all of a sudden the disc just would no longer spin. So I replaced it with a new one.
Well the one I replaced it with died tonight.

I am so frustrated  right now. Anyone know if Nintendo will fix something like this. I no longer have the receipt and really hate if they are making the cubes shotty like the Playstation 2 just to up there sales numbers as I am sort a forced to buy a new one seeing I have over a freggin 100 games I no longer can play now.

Has anyone else had this problem? up till now I was die hard Nintendo promoter but  I am rally just in a super bad mood over this right now.

Any suggestions?? contact info?? similar stories??

thanks  for pointing me to the thread, as far as getting an email about it being moved,  i get over 50 emails a day to  go through, business and otherwise so i can easily overlook some.

as far as it being moved, your forum so  whatever but seems all is being talked about is stuff for the "gamecube".

again thanks for the address.

the 1st i head of this game was only a couple days ago, because of this forum and site.

before that i had no clue.
i saw no advertising for it and  i have been offline for awhile or at least off game sites for awhile so  i had no clue,  i might pick it up later today after hearing about it now as well as the inexpensive price tag.

if they made a 3D version of a 2D  sonic i would buy it for sure, they could easily make  something like an old genisis game just trick it out and capture the feel of a true sonic again. almost seems sonic is to fast to really capture in true 3D, or at least so far it has to worked very well. maybe a mix  between the 2 ?

if pop has a story as good as i hear then it sounds worth the buy to me.

ever own a good book you read again and again?

i have a few games that  have no real reason to play twice besides that they are enjoyable, story and gameplay.  for example, mario sunshine, zelda, metriod prime, and so on.

After logging back in it shows  what I registered so that is a bit of a relief but still no mention of a disk? is that  an email  that comes later and not mentioned on the site anywhere?

also I seem to get an insecure notice on every page of their site. Anyone else get that?

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Mature Titles doesnt always mean Violent !
« on: January 05, 2004, 03:59:59 PM »
I am not a fan of sports games either and at 30 I have enjoyed Nintendo as my main console  since they came out. Even with Genisis  super Nintendo was  played more.

I had  a 64 and  a ps1, 4 games for the ps1 and 40 or more for the 64.

X-box and  the cube are the same, I am pushing 100 games for the cube and only 1 is a realistic sports game which almost never gets touched. Madden.

I do however see the need for them and  agree if Nintendo themselves  were responsible for an exclusive realistic racing game, upgrading engine, tires effecting  the handling and so forth  with graphics as well, it might be the start of a domino effect for others to jump on the band wagon. As much as many seem against the casual gamer the majority of systems out there are owned by them and so forth  they do decide for the most part what  succeeds and does not.

General Chat / registering my stuff on my nintendo?
« on: January 05, 2004, 12:16:17 PM »
so i signed up an account and registered 2  games 1 cube and one sp.

it showed  nothing to  confirm this registration, nothing of the zelda disk as well.

so i tried to register them again and no luck, it then said those had already been registered.
so has  this been  a reoccuring issue we all dealt with and it will work even though it seems like it did not?

thanks

that could be the next rumble.

in a game like resident evil instead of just arumble when something jumps out at you   your controller could actually feel as if it is  jumping backwards away from the thing.

racing games are an obvious, but  lots of potential in all kinds of games, specially platformers.
