Either Wednesday or Friday of that group. One I work in the morning the other I don't work until 11pm. Bomberman works for me. I just finished playing a few hours of Tetris Party which reminded me how much trouble I have with the game.

152
I will post my friend code once I get home. This will be the first time I played with it online.

153
A day I don't work on. So Mario Kart.

I will try. Though I have to be in at work for training about an hour after it starts. Hopefully it better than what Microsoft tried putting on the table. Though now that FF13 is heading to the 360 I really don't need to get a PS3 anytime soon.

I wonder is this in response (discust) that Nintendo said they are probally going to putting 80% of this year's advertising budget behind WiiFit. (At least by the sounds of it)

I own all but the PS3 though that will be changing maybe soon. (If I have the money to spare when the rebate checks come out in two months.)

I'm kind of picky when it comes to my games but I have bought some stinkers. Unfortunatly I usually don't have to time to play through most of them. Since I work full time, go to school, plus I'm trying to get a game out so I can pay for my loan payment when they come after I graduate.

NWR Forums Discord / RE: Nintendo Stock Plummets!
« on: February 08, 2008, 03:41:25 PM »
It was only a matter of time before it hit. And yes this is the time to buy Nintendo stock. Because of the nature of the "luxury" item that Nintendo sells it puts it in a sweet spot where it is considered "recession prof" (no such thing) So if the Wii and DS keep on sell like they have the stocks will go up in no time.

This isn't politics per-se just a little information of the structure of government. The President has little to no power over economy, he can send bills through but it mostly in the charge of the legislature and the US Bank.

I don't know if this is all my collection but here it goes.

1st (9 titles)
-----
Battleon Wars II
Super Mario Galaxy
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. (x2)
Wii Sports (x2)
WarioWare
Fire Emblem
Super Paper Mario
Pokemon Battle Revolution
Mario Party 8

3rd (17 Titles)
----
No More Heros
Super Swing Golf
Trauma Center
Guitar Hero 3
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Red Steel
Sonic: The Secret Rings
Madden 07
Alien Syndrom
RE:4 Wii Edition
Naruto Clash of the Ninja
Zack & Wiki
Marvel Ultimate Allience
Elebits
RE: Umbrela Chronicles
DDR: Hottest Party
Manhunt 2

I'm planning on getting more titles but I really don't have the time to play what I have. But I'm pretty sure more of them are 3rd party, at least the majority. I also just realized that it has only been 1 year and I already have about half the liberary of what I had for the Gamecube. We have two Wii's at home because of the number of people we have living here. (All my siblings) We also own two 360's, so that should explain the x2 on some of the titles. We are probally going to end up with two Smash Brothers

If you lump together all the Gameboy iterations it still has the crown. I think I seen a number that put the GB series at 290+ million lifetime.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: How many players?
« on: December 28, 2007, 11:38:36 AM »
I lost where I got this news but someone was playing around and found that if there was someone who wanted to there could be 16 remotes. But it would just be easier to implement LAN play were you can have four players per Wii.

For one of my first projects I’m planning on making a board game. The game will be modeled after Trivial Pursuit, Scene It and a few others. The object of the game will be to prove how much knowledge you have in Video Games, Anime and Manga. I am planning on calling it Otaku-ban. The problem is I need questions and research that needs to be done. So I’m asking for help, since if I use the material I have at home it will be primarily slanted to the tastes of my siblings and I. So I need questions that range the gambit of easy to very hard.

For example one of the questions I’m planning is to take pictures of Master Chief from Halo in each installment run on the 360 but Displayed on a SDTV and pit plays to id which game each frame is from.

Once I am done I will offer this up as freeware since there is way too much red tape to release it as a commercial game.

As a token of my gratitude for helping me with the research I will put the names (or screen names if you choose) in the credits of the game. I hope to have this project done in at least beta form by time No Brand Con comes around in April so I can test it out.

You can either PM me or send me the questions to my e-mail at blkpaladin@hughes.net .
One more thing make sure you include references and what game, producer, creator that the question is from so I can give them proper credit for their work or else I cannot include it, and so I can do back research to verify the questions correctness. Please do not submit anything dealing with hentai in any of its forms.

Here is the planed divisions for the questions.

TalkBack / RE:360 Outsells Wii for the Month of September
« on: October 22, 2007, 02:31:55 PM »
Here are some interesting articles on the PS3 and PS2.

I think if the new 40GB model and lower 80 doesn't move consoles I don't think they will be able to get exclusives from thrid parties.

Sony begging for third parties to stay.

Analysts predict basically this is the last year for strongh PS2 sales

You know what I"m kicking my self now. I was going to go, I was even invited to go but had too many bills. (And too many games to buy.) So I ended up not signing up to go....

TalkBack / RE:Halo DS Footage Surfaces
« on: October 03, 2007, 08:15:42 AM »
Well take this with a grian of salt but I just heard a rumor about Halo Wars coming to the DS. I went to Gamestop to make several reservation and I was treated to a side show. Both the Microsoft Rep and Nintendo Rep were in the store at the same time so there was some playful fanboyish banter between the two, the only thing the two could agree on it was too bad the Sony Rep wasn't there so they could rip on him. But the topic of Microsoft game coming to DS was brought up. Blue Dragon, Viva Pinata were brought up, and this was mentioned along with the possiblity that Halo Wars might make it the DS. Another rumor that I disregaurded even though it came from the Microsoft Rep was that someone was working on a DS/360 conntectivity for games. But as I said take it with a grain of salt it was two Reps who loved their jobs a little too much.

There are some things you can hate about Nintendo of old. But there are a lot of things they did brillently. If they didn't they wouldn't of been on top for as long as they were.

You know I'm happy when it is coming but I'm not too hot about Ubisoft handling the localization. I haven't played a Japanese game that was localized by Ubisoft yet that hasn't had grammatical errors. The worse was Grandia II for the Dreamcast, the other was more recent yet I cannot remember what the name was.

The Phazonmids or what ever usually drop gold credits my brother found that out by accually not advoiding battling them. When they break up they either turn into the blue or red verity you want the red ones. Two are found in the Sky City, and one underneth the golum that intially says you don't have the ability to power up the golum.

You need the X-Ray Scan. You go to his head and do an easy "combination" lock puzle were you line up barbs.

The problem is you have to have a game concept and at least concept art and good documentation to show Nintendo via WarioLand. Though the person in Nintendo I have been talking suggests you have a working demo of a piece of game working to show that will up your chances greatly. (Like if you are making an RPG like me have a working battle sequence.)

Nintendo Gaming / WiiWear Middleware Software Found.

The people at Garage Games are offering their Torque Game Engine optimized for the Wii and WiiWare. Though this is a commerical solution, as Nintendo usually operates you need to be approved before being able to buy any liscensed middleware.

I found this while doing an assignment.
