I know, I was also excited to hear any news of a new starfox game. Not even a rumor leaked

With or without Itagaki, Team Ninja is still the best Tecmo team when it comes to pushing hardware. The possible heavy story line can be a interesting thing considering that the Metroid series does have a interesting background. Anyways I think this looks awesome and notice the chameleon enemy:
I seriously think the coloured Toads are placeholders, I wouldn't conclude they will end up in the final product. The fact that neither Toad sports the colours of the usual Toad (red spots w/ blue vest) really makes me believe this.
Wario and Waluigi would be so cool... Waluigi needs to make his platforming debut!
I know they're going for consistency graphics wise, but....
Wario Land: Shake It > New Super Mario Bros. Wii

I think Snipper is a fellow Mario Sunshine fan, so that makes him one of my favorite people.
I can finally realize my dream of jettisoning Yoshi into the dark recesses of space.

Snipper64 actually brought up something that's been bugging me for a few Mario games now: why doesn't Nintendo let you pick your stars as you go while in the levels? I loved that aspect of Mario 64, where you could select one star; wander around; and accidentally find another more interesting star along the way. They jetissoned that for Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy, and it's a real shame...it offered a level of freedom I miss in these later games, not to mention cut down on the repetition of "select a star; chase the star; grab the star; kick out to the hub world; select a star...". Exploration might not be what the Mario games are all about, but it certainly doesn't hurt the experience and can make the more formulaic parts of the game more tolerable.
It is a platformer, not an adventure game, having an element of exploration isn't necessary. Super Mario Galaxy followed the design philosophies which made the 2D ones so great.
First of all I love the Avatar Snipper64. Second got a link to the trailer?

If this game delivers: Sega will be swimming in cash, stupid "casual Wii lol" will be silenced for about a week, and High Voltage might just bump up their B grade status.
In this game fails: Third parties will ignore the Wii (they hate money), anti-Nintendo fanboys will fester, and Ian Sane will be a happy clam.
WHICH WILL HAPPEN? We'll find out in June.
It has been awhile since I played B-T so when I got it on 360 LIve I was really blown away by how MASSIVE the overworld is in the game. I remember it being big but not that big, it is almost Zelda big.
