For the Genesis poll I'd like to nominate "Moonwalker". (Well I THINK it is for genesis).

It's not because (well not just because) MJ died, but from what I heard it is a pretty... original game. From the reviews I read and seen on youtube (Mostaly the angry video game nerd) it seems to be a pretty cool game, just with some gameplay problems.

I just wanted to throw it out there, may not even be a genesis game, but I think it is.

These kids today just don't appreciate the classics.

lol, I grew up with charlie brown, I am 18.

I just played RE4 today and was in a mood for it.

On a second look at those pictures, there's really only one response to seeing someone do that to an SNES:

1:20 mark

Eerrr... I think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLvXI7Z2Zw4 would be better.

If you think those are high prices then don't look on eBay... unless they were ALL sports games, in which case that's just wrong.

They were mostaly sport games, there were some gamecube games that I NEVER heard of that looked cool for $9, but 95% of the SNES games were Maddan football. The only one that I saw that was decent was F-Zero, but I am not really into racing....

I've been hearing a lot about this series, I was under the impression that this was a silly flash parody, but from the looks of this it is a well produced series! The costumes look really good!

Yup, It isn't a flash series, live acted. The story I find to be as good as the outfits, it isn't just a stupid mindless parody, but a serious (also funny) dark interresting story, your favorite characters climbing up the ladder from the dystopian neighborhood they live in.

Yah, enjoy!

Also, I have only seen episoides 1 and 3.... I need to catch up myself :D

Also, I think it would be scary to put a mii into the "there will be brawl" universe... he/she wouldn't stand a chance in it 0_o

35
you sick ****!

not cool, not funny.
[/reads thread]

Welcome to the elusive club of proud SNES owners!

Lol, I don't know if I should be honored or scared :P

yah, the zombie snes IS NOT MINE, I saved a SNES from internal punishment of the waves of 5 year olds.

don't get me wroung, your comment made my day, how funny :D

36
I got a SNES about 3 years ago. I had one during the 16 bit era.

Let us know what genres you like.

Yah, I am looking hard for Ultima, and I love starfox for SNES, but is really kicking my @$$...

I went to a pawn shop today to look for games for nes, but they were $7, the N64 games were $8, and gamecube games are $9... Way to expensive, and mostaly just madden NFL games that no one really care about anymore :(

Haha, read a little description about this on Tv Tropes. I should check this out.

In terms of acting, how was it Snipper?

P.S. The ice climbers are one of my fav. they are like sinister miggit russian bodygaurds... They are awsome, but mario beats them up. (they where wario's bodyguards, but he replaces them it fierce yoshies)

Haha, read a little description about this on Tv Tropes. I should check this out.

In terms of acting, how was it Snipper?

Acting is great, feels really classy with Luigi being the narrator. Also, wario and Mario is brillant. I am OK with zero suit, and pit. The news caster (the guy on cloud with camera is a funny mixed too) The hyrulians, means business, and act nice. I still hate the rosalena actor though, looks good, but I think they made her dumb on porpoise.

I think wario is truelly awsome, and so is the mario bros. you could do a whole series just on those three. It is a truely serious show at times, and it is nice to see these tough guys go through that and act it out.

Also, I need to shout out for Walugi, he has a small scene, but they made him out to be mentally handicapped and just mutters stuff from mario tennis and mario cart and party.... it is horrificaly funny as well.

lol, yes, she is dressed like that all the time, I wonder if snake will be added sometime...
Sexy Samus.

Ok PART 2!

The customs are only matched by the story, they did not put link and Zelda above in vivid green and [ink suits, but toned it down, and made it look like if they were in RL. The human charectors look realistic to today clothing standerds, some of the others such as the Star fox cast still keep ther look, but perfectaly adapted for the real world...

Also, along with the actors makeup and clothing, their behavior I find is great. A few the side charectors such as Roselena are just too dumbed down, but besides those, everyone is identifiable, yet realistic. Take Mario, in the movies he still loves peach, but peach is loyalty and can't be seen with Mario as Mario is now consider a nobody living in a old newyork like apartment. He still has traces of a hero in him and compassion, but it is mostly anger, rage and remorse, you see in him in this movie.

Wario is the guy who runs illegal operations, and trades info for info, not well like, but talks for payment.

Lugi is the main guy, always narrating and solving the mystery slowly

Mario beats up anyone who gets in their way, but is sorrowfull how his life became lowered to this.

Even King Dee Dee who dies has a funny pimp like personality (I did not see him in the movie yet, only seen first 2 so far)

(lol, am I allowed to show this? Anyways if you notice, from left to right is links girlfriend from his village, the sec. is the girl on Lon Lon ranch,  King Dee Dee, then the brain dead rosalenia from Mario Galaxy, and the last... err.... I don't know. Keep in mind, there is no nudity in this series if you are worried about the above pic!)

If your into Nintendo, you'll enjoy this.

if your into politics, you'll enjoy this.

If you enjoy humor and violence, you'll enjoy this.

If you hate 1 or more of the above, but at least enjoy one at least, you'll still like this series.

Ever since I got internet, I have allways searched out Nintendo parodies...

I love and watch mostly sprite movies on newgrounds, and a few live action preformed ones on youtube, but by far, the best series is the "there will be brawl" episodes.

The plot is complex, funny, and hooking. I could try to describe the plot, but I feel the producers explanation to be much better then anything I could come up with...

Quote from: therewillbebrawl.com
In a Dystopian Mushroom Kingdom, corruption and avarice reign supreme. Even the greatest heroes of the land have buckled beneath the overwhelming will of the amoral elite. When a series of grisly crimes pushes an unlikely champion to seek the truth, a mystery unfolds that could completely destroy everything he holds dear.

“There Will Be Brawl” is a non-profit web series designed as a dark, dramatic parody of the popular Super Smash Bros. Brawl video game for the Nintendo Wii. The Creators of the project are avid fans of Nintendo, and this series has been developed as an homage to the colorful characters of SSBB that we all know and love. Through the hard work of a talented cast and crew, and the support of our fans, we hope to continue to produce a story you will all enjoy.

Ok, I have never seen "there will be blood" the movie, but I am assuming it is a Nintendo parody of it. When people (starts with mewtwo) getting killed, the retired and forgotten Mario bros. not only have to discover the murderer of the killings, but they themselves are being blamed and chased for it. Luigi stars as the Private Eye detective, and Mario as the beaten druggie (hooked on beer and mushrooms) who will beat anyone in his way. Mario may be retired and out of shape, but you don't mess around with him and his bro!

They team up with other Nintendo super stars (mostly from brawl) to try to solve the murders. All of the murders are the people who were in Melee and did not show up in brawl (such as mewtwo, pichu, and roy).

This is no child movie, if it was rated movie rise, it would easily earn a PG-13, or maybe even a R rating for language, drugs, and "suggestive" themes. They keep it decent, and funny, but still stay away if you are under 13!

The royal Zelda and peach are under constant fighting, as hyrule and the mushroom kingdom kill off important members of each other. Zelda and link so far appear as rich bad guys.

Now for the outfits... I will continue this in part two being typed up next!

Well, for 5 bucks, I bought my first SNES from my cousin, it came with 10 games, 2 controllers, and no hassle. I grew up with a super nes, but it belong to my daycare sitter, and I never owned one until today! I got super Mario world, paperboy, Joe and mac 2 lost in the tropics, and finally battletoads, and etc!

I'll have you know, my cousin was extraordinary abusive to the SNES, luckily everything still works, but he smashes the controller on the hard floor whenever he lost (which is allot), swap games while leaving it on, and other terrible things. So I saved it, and gave it a good home now :3

Anyways, you are probably wondering what I mean by "Zombie SNes", well ironically today when I got the abused SNES, I saw this on the internet...

The best stories are the weird stories.

I guess my SNES is luckyer then I thought...

Perhaps this is nintendo reducing the price of the wii! The new price is $200 dollors for the wii, and $50 dollors for the rubber duckie! And people said the reduction wouldn't happen....

To be honest, I have NO IDEA what gamestop is trying to pull... All I can think is that it is a way to buy a wii for a family member or friend, and ship it to them, they open it up and also get a rubber duckie with it... It HAS to be a joke for people you send it too! Nothing else makes sence.... 0_o

Well... I thought I heard it all...

First I post about the new wii bowling ball, and the rabbids plunger gun, but this takes the cake, but this time it is Gamestops doing!

http://www.gamestop.com/Browse/Search.aspx?N=138+196

You have to click the link to see it for yourself... Gamestop is selling wiis with either a rubber ducky, pirate tatoo or even a squirt gun, and these are the stuff you can buy for ¢25 at a dollar store!

What you think of this?!

P.S. I thought it would be funny to see what you guys would pick if you were to buy a wii.... I pick a rubber ducky :3

A new game came out, called bit boy (Well I think it is out now).

Well, Bit Bow is a hard game to describe.... a pic is worth a 1000 words...

[jpg]http://www.wiinintendo.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/BitBoyScreenshots.jpg[/jpg]

Basically, you play the same pacman like game in 6 diffrent bits.... 4,8,16,32,64,128.... I love the concept, but don't think the game looks that good... you should look at the youtube vid for "Bit Boy"...
