So would you rather have a staff or something?
I'd like to wield the banjo of tranquility.  Or maybe a nice mouth harp.

I've never seen Robot Chicken, but I've caught the previews a couple times while watching Futurama.  Does anyone know where you can download this clip?

From the sounds of it, the game has a typical duel-analog control scheme, so it probably will play out much more like a regular FPS than Metroid.  I wouldn't be too worried.

In case anyone's interested, here's someone's take on the new Buzz Bunny.  It's pretty amusing.

A New Bunny

Goes on for a little too long though.

What's everyone's take on NPC-interaction strategies?  Should Nintendo stick with text only, or should they give in to IGN's demands and have speech throughout the game?  Should Link talk (please, God, no) or should remain his silent self?

If there is speach, should Nintendo not put subtitles at all, just to piss of Paladin?

Slew - check out the last post on page 6 of this thread by ruby_onyx (assuming you are set at 20 posts per page) for Japanese numbers.  I haven't seen US numbers for the DS in quite some time.

Holy crap...we all thought it was an amazing concept for Link to be able to use enemies' weapons in WW...but hitching their rides? That's absolutely amazing. Oh my God, this is going to be an unbelievable game.
I'm actually kinda surprised some Xbox fanboy hasn't come here screaming about how Zelda is ripping off Halo 2.

Or maybe it's the release of GT4.

Mario, where are DS numbers?

Nintendo Gaming / RE: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker thread
« on: March 11, 2005, 03:01:48 AM »
After watching the new Zelda trailer yesterdayI decided to go back and play through Wind Waker again. I started a new game plus (or whatever you want to call it) and I'm at Windfall Island.

I can't seem to start the Picto Box side quest. Since I already have the Deluxe Picto Box, do I not get to do this side quest? If this is the case, are there any other side quests I don't do on the second play through?

Anyone check out this article over at GameSpy?

Inaba shared a few interesting tidbits about the Clover Studio's upcoming game, Okami, where you control a wolf. Although Capcom hasn't officially announced what systems Okami will be on, Inaba stated that it's being developed primarily for PS2.
Does this mean that there's a chance it will come out on the Cube?  Does anyone know anything about this, or has GameSpy gotten my hopes up for no reason?

Maybe Nintendo will take a cue from Sony and release regular Mario Kart DS and then release an online version a few months later and make people buy it again.

I personally click on the occasional ad (usually the "Shoot the ..." ads, because they amuse me...)
I do the same thing.  Usually, i click as far away from the target as possible, just to see if it tells me I won anyway.  Sometimes it does, which I find really funny for some reason.

You take this job with the goal of moving up.
Are you interested in moving up?  What can you move up to?  I mean, is it possible to work your way up to a programmer, writer, directer, producer, etc?

What was your major in school, if you don't mind me asking?  I thought I remember you telling me you were writing a script for a movie once (it was during an argument; about what, I can't remember).

13315
I don't support IGN.  Can you give me the gist of what it says?

No argument about it--it is the best portable version of Tetris ever released.

But yeah the rule is no more than 2 games per console if you want to stay relevent and have people actually care.
Tell that to the twelve million people who bought San Andreas.

Rick, if we block ads, does PGC still get money?  I'm not exactly sure how it works--do we need to click on the ads to nab you some bucks, or is merely viewing the ad good enough?

For the uneducated, Howard Scott Warshaw is the man responsible for programming E.T. for the Atrai 2600, one of the worst games ever made, and generally credited for the video game crash of 1983.

I don't have a problem with multiple directions, but in P.N. 03 you HAVE to do the combinations on the dpad, which is off to the side and a little on the small side.
I've never played P.N.03, but it's always interested me (especially now that you can find it for under $20).  Can someone tell me if the game plays alright with the Hori Digital Controller (i.e. do you need to use the C-stick or the Z-button)?

I don't see Atari Retro Classics on Bill's list.  The Courtroom drama game is also missing, but knowing Bill, he probably just forgot that one.
