Imigine: Babiez 3DFixed for truth. So far, there have been no games that end in z, or anything that starts with Imagine. James shouldn't be too pissed for now.
You know those are whats gonna make up the rest of the 6 to 8 launch titles.
gotta feed the over-budgeted HD games too.
Its the crab fisherman way! I know Silicon Knights does this. They do this to make sure they retain the best, and drop the worst.Since you're the closest to us in the video game development industry Perm, how can one tell who does the best and the worst?
People like parents who buy it for their kids would likely get the cheaper ones, figuring they're just going to lose/destroy them. This is kind of a fact. The least expensive models (the DS Lite, or a used DS Fat) are good for these kind of situations.
But there is a point in cutting off a cyst, or some other abnormal growth on one's face. Which may be how Nintendo (quite rightly, in some cases) perceives third parties.N64. Gamecube. And now with the Wii.
I talked about how Final Fantasy 15 would be a wii exclusive...seriously?
That game could very well be a 3DS exclusive instead.Sorry, but I don't think I can handle melodrama in THREE DEEE.

but I guess this is standard practice for the industry.
Precisely. Develops will hire new employees when they begin a big project and lay off some employees when the project is complete, it's nothing personal. The studio will hire new people when they begin their next project.
Seriously. Where's the Last Guardian, instance? How about an ICO/Shadow of the Colossus collection? In development limbo?
after a successful launch of a new game too, but I guess this is standard practice for the industry.
There's a reason why Iwata's getting on the "We <3 third-parties" bandwagon. And there is absolutely no reason for him to do it. It's like he's a father trying to get a kid (third parties) to behave with a lollipop (money hats).
