SMB3/World were awesome, but so is NSMBWii. I disagree with your views.

I also never accidently hit the A button on the Wiimote, once. Do you suffer from big thumbs?

I loved Galaxy's soundtrack more then Mario Bros. Wii, it's just personal preference and nothing else.

What an absolute shame to hear about Rare. They suffered quality output during the last gen (and PD Zero was stupid as hell), but their last few games (keyword: few) had the charm and quality.

Pity.

This game is lacking in presentation and I've come to understand why lots of reviews have given it an 8.5. It's obvious that it could have been better from a technical standpoint, and that's why I think this game is better than the sum of its parts.
Their opinions matter?

Crap, better sell Mario Bros Wii since it isn't a ten!
The game lacks the charm of older Mario games, especially Super Mario Bros. 3 though I suppose it's not really fair to compare the two.
I don't remember SMB3 having twisting platforms. Ever.

Yoshi's lack of use disappointed me though. I'm a sad panda over that.

This big change will probably be something like Link having wings throughout the entire game.

I'm not expecting anything drastic...I feel like Zelda is Nintendo's Dragon Quest now.  God forbid the formula is changed or the faithful will end up rioting.
Ironic that those same riot freaks caused Twilight Princess to look and play the way it did.

I still stand on the thought that Wind Waker would've kicked massive amounts of ass if Nintendo gave EAD more time. I love Celda (lol c wat i did thr?), it's a shame it's stuck to just portable titles.

Kojima decided to turn him into something important in the fifth act. From plop to plot.

What is a massive plop is that this disaster sold over 5 million copies.

EDIT: Changed the thread title.

Is it powered my nanomachines?

Brown shading?

Bankrupty powers?

Why not add the Blue Shell to the next Smash Bros? Make it an instant KO and hit whoever has the least damage.

Isn't that basically what half of the character's Smash Balls are?
Some of them, yes. Others, not really. Sonic's Smash Attack is the most cheapest attack EVER. Snake's, on the other hand, needs good aiming skills.

Ironic that a character which people wanted in Brawl got the **** end of the stick and another character who's creator is a giant troll got a slightly well balanced move set.

yes i am bitter

I hope the game does well in the November NPD's, the game deserves to be a huge seller.
According to VGChartz, it had 520,000 pre-orders and they predict it will sell a million in its first week. So it could be good.

http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=5887

Yeah, I don't believe sites that pull their numbers out of their ass (and think people need to stop giving that crap site publicity). I am sure NSMBW will have good numbers, but at this point we don't have a clue as to its numbers.

Caterkiller, I don't know how or if it would work. I am sure Nintendo could work out something if they wanted too.
While Modern Warfare 2 is a huge selling in it's first few weeks, NSMBWii is still going to win in sales, long term wise.

NSMBDS's overall sales are proof of that.

If the good fan fiction is more difficult to find then why not make a thread for when you stumble upon that instead?
Go to TVTropes for that instead.
don't we already have a thread or two devoted to star fox command? And a few others that were derailed by it?
There is a difference between fan fiction game developers make (MGS4 SF Command) and fan fan fiction.

Good fan fiction exists, what the hell do you think Sturgeons Law exists? Granted, it's hard to find. 10% of good fiction exists, the other 90% is awful turd.

So, yeah.

Famitsu gave Mario a 40/40.
A questionable source gives it a perfect score (which it rightfully deserves)?

Where'd I put that wine bottle?

Akiba exists for a reason.

Kojima just decided to use him as a plot device in the fourth game because... well, why not?

EasyCure basically summed up my feelings towards this HD disaster.

What's a shame is that MadWorld, which is basically off the wall like NMH was, didn't sell as well. What a pity.

Sorry, but all of the charm that NMH1 has will be gutted out with the HD version. Seriously, the Wiimote as a cell phone, that was the most awesome thing ever.

I hope this blows up in Marvelous' face... really, I do.

Also, replace Tezuka with Iizuka and he becomes the forefather for everything wrong with Sonic.

Nintendo will never listen to you. They will never listen to us. Hits the brakes before you hit that brick wall.
Why can't Nintendo just support the classic controller and be done with it?  Every review, even this 10, points out the waggle irritation.  This bugs me so much!  Yes, I see the score, and I appreciate the idea of a 10.
Who knows.

Coming soon to the PS3, Metal Gear Solid 4: Wagglestance.

Waggling the Ice Cream cone moves the camera around during cutscenes. You get more gameplay that way.
