Nintendo Gaming / I think I just lost all my save information.

[size=78%]I was using the SD card in my 3DS temporarily for a digital camera.  I didn't delete the save data on the card.  But when I put it back into my 3DS just now, I think it reformatted and there are now to games on the card.  I assume I'll just have to redownload all the games, but all the save data is lost forever?[/size]


That really sucks.  I was really far in Donkey Kong, I was about to beat Pushmo, I was a couple hours into Ocarina of Time, same for Layton, same for Etrian Odyssey, and others...


This is what I get for having digitally downloaded games only?

Nintendo Gaming / Verdict on New Super Mario Bros. 2?

I've only owned a 3DS for a few weeks (since the Pikachu XL edition came out) and I haven't really been playing any games on any console for the past 5-8 years.


I'm just about done with Super Mario 3D Land, beating almost every normal level and secret level, with both characters, with yellow flags on every stage.  And I've seen some mixed reviews for New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Is New Super Mario Bros. 2 worth buying?  For someone who has never played any of the New Super Mario Bros. games?

Is the amount of content in NSMB2 comparable to Super Mario 3D Land?

Nintendo Gaming / Etrian Odyssey IV - Guild Name / Adventurers

I just bought a 3DS and downloaded Etrian Odyssey IV.  I've never played any of the other titles in the series and I didn't play the demo.  It just looked like a game I'd really like so I went for it.  The guild formation at the beginning reminds me a lot of the original Final Fantasy so I thought I'd have some fun with it.  Here is my guild that I'm going into the game blind:


Guild Name: Zerg


Zergling1 (Landsknecht)
Zergling2 (Landsknecht)
Viper (Sniper)
Queen (Healer)
Infestor (Runemaster)


(Zerglings in front and the rest in the back.  I thought about going with a Hydralisk (Nightseeker), but that's just no good.  Zerglings spawn in pairs, right?)


I've made goofier parties in Final Fantasy.  So not knowing anything about their skills or balance, this is what I'm going with.

edit: Just finished the first mission and got my skyship.  And I named it the Overlord, of course.  (Leviathan wouldn't fit.)

I thought you couldn't, but then I read this press release about the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon / XL offer:

General Gaming / Name dropping NWR, RFN, and more on an Ultima Online Podcast.

Hello all,
 
 I just got interviewed on an Ultima Online podcast and for some reason there were all kinds of non-UO related questions.  (He said he got PM's for more of these questions in his interviews, so go figure.)
 
 Anyway, I ended up name dropping Nintendo World Report, Radio Free Nintendo, Crosstawk, and Box Office Poison.

Short Description: I'm a self-described casual fan of all fantasy & sci-fi and I've decided to see why The Sword of Truth book series seems to get so much hate by the people who hate it and love from the people who love it.  After deciding to read it for the first time, I decided to review and summarize each chapter as I went along, chapter-by-chapter.  I just completed the first book in the series and I'll be moving onto the second book as well as branching off into other fantasy book series from here on out.  In my chapter reviews, I usually end up making fun of the author and/or characters, but most of that is due to me entertaining myself as I write and usually has less to do with inadequacies on the part of the author and/or characters.

***I know there are many other people who have interests other than (and including?) video games.  And of those people, there must be other people who enjoy writing and have done so in blog form.  So if you have a blog, feel free to share, and try to stay true to the format of "Blog Title," "Short Description," and "Link."  The only types of blogs I think should be off-limits are just random thoughts about... breakfast that morning, who pissed you off that day, why your favorite sports team won last night, etc.  (Basically blogs that are just Facebook and Twitter pages in blog form.)  On the other hand, a dedicated sports blog would be fine, for example.

If you add your blog to this thread, I'll try and add your information to this OP, so discussion about the blogs won't get in the way.

I can't seem to find the option to switch your bomberman guy out for your Mii.  Help please.
