*sees a glimmer of hope with the Mega Man compilation coming out next year*

Some small spoilers about the number of riders...Don't b**** at me if you look

It seems that there are 20 racers total, making 4 secret characters.  According to EGM, 11 of the 20 have never been in Mario Kart before...Wow...

If there was a way, then there would be nothing keeping Capcom from making the two systems able to play against one another...It's Capcom's game, not Ninty's or Sony's...Of course, at the moment there is no way to do that, so who cares?

Well you have to really pay attention to completely understand Ghost in the Shell.  I've seen a lot of people say it wasn't good, all because the theme of the movie went right over their heads...Then I tell them what the movie was trying to get across and I get a, "Ohhhhhhhh...Now I get it..."

If you don't like to think when you watch a movie, then you should stay away...

*Gives The Omen a cookie*

Yeah, BB was released in 1984...And that's an interesting idea you bring up about the alien, because I can't see how the stereotypical big-eyed alien could be scary...

Thumbs down for the cheaters putting all the Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies as one thing

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Sales would be better on PS2 or Xbox!
« on: October 23, 2003, 12:23:53 PM »
Well that's because most of the stuff that is "PS2 and Xbox exclusive" is absolute crap...I mean look at Eidos and Acclaim...Did anyone actually get upset when they said they were pulling their lineup from the GC?  Not I...

Instead of finding a scapegoat for their poor sales(the GC), developers should be looking at their own competency, or should I say, lack thereof...

Just must be different tastes then.  I play through Luigi's Mansion at least once every 3 months, and it never drops in entertainment value

Alright, I'll describe some of my strange dreams...

1)  This happened at least twice...I'm in a biodome-like area, with trees lining the outer part of the sphere, a flat plain-like area in the middle, and a pond in the center...However, I wasn't alone...There was a buck(male white-tailed deer) and a fawn running around.  In my dream I was trying to catch them.  The second night I had the dream the fawn ran into the pond and I swam in after it.  Once I caught it, the dream ended and I've never had it since...

2)  Videogame related(around when the Dolphin was said to be in the making):  My family is driving through the desert when I see a game store on the side of the road, and the only thing in sight.  Inside they had games for a dollar each, and systems for two dollars.  I saw the Dolphin system, Super Mario 64- 2, and Mario Kart 128.  I was so pissed when I woke up

3)  Ever had a dream where you could actually feel something?  The last dream I'm going to describe involved me walking down my street in the pouring rain with a girl I didn't know.  What was weird was that I could feel the coolness of the rain.  The dream fast-forward'd a bit till we were almost a mile away from where my house would be in real-life.  I heard a honk, and I turned around to see a friend in his car waiting about 20 yards behind me.  I turn back to look at the girl, and she's gone.  A really soothing dream...something I rarely get

Wow, this is weird...Just this morning I was thinking of creating a topic just like this one...Stop reading my thoughts!  *huddles in corner*

1) Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - The most perfectly scripted action/adventure movie on the planet...
2) Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark - A few slow parts but overall just as great as Last Crusade...
3) Empire Strikes Back - Why do I like this one the most?  One word: Hoth ^_^
4) Goldeneye - My favorite Bond movie...and I loved it long before the game came out
5) Thomas Crowne Affair - An amazing suspense movie, with a twist...
6) Star Wars - the one that started it all
7) Signs - the one and only movie that has actually scared me in the past 5 years(the Eternal Darkness of movies)...The acting was perfect, the script was perfect, the atmosphere was perfect...Plus, I completely agree with the theological views incorporated in the film...
8) Monty Python & the Holy Grail - It's MP, what can I say? ^_^
9) Independence Day - Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith make a perfect team...
10) Buckaroo Banzai - If anyone has seen this movie, I'll give them a cookie...A lot of famous actors started here, including Peter Weller(Robocop), John Lithgow, Christopher Lloyd, and Jeff Goldblum...A funny, interesting twist on alien invaders and the War of the Worlds "hoax"...

Two thumbs up for Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop: The Movie...I recommend both titles if you have the money...

Thankfully nothing of interest to me is coming out(in terms of anime) until late November...I need that money to get Mario Party since I spent half my loose cash on the Indiana Jones DVD set...

Wrong!  You have to be 17...16 to get a student pilot certificate...Though you can start training whenever you want...

I know because my cousin, plus a close friend, fly occasionally...

I like short games with lots of replay value.  Though Wind Waker was a shorter game, overall, than OoT, I've played it through more times than OoT...

And though 99.9% of gamers disagree, I thought Luigi's Mansion was a perfect length ^_^

Maybe they hate all videogames.  That would be pretty ironic, wouldn't it

1) Megaton wasn't a lie...It just wasn't what we would call "megaton"...

2) As for fewer dungeons, yes that is true...But let's take a game like LttP...Sure it had a bunch of dungeons, but I can easily burn through the first few in a matter of minutes, and the dark world ones not much more...And just so you know, 2 dungeons were left out of Wind Waker due to time constraints...So I would expect them to appear in the next game.

My guess for dungeons in the next Zelda game: 7 or 8 including the final boss area...

The morph ball works because of Chozo magic!  No, really...

As for Samus' missles...I wonder more where Mario keeps his fireballs and where Link stashes all his gear...Like how can he walk normally if he takes off his iron boots?  He still has them on him!

As many as my paycheck and allowance allow...

Though around this time of year I usually have less game money...Which sucks since I'm going to have to miss Mario & Luigi, Kirby's Air Ride, and Fire Emblem until a later date...

I hope you just didn't admit that you're a graphics whore...The game sounds great, and unless there is another game higher on my list coming out around the same time, I will be picking it up pronto...

You should at least try it before commenting on whether it's good or bad...
