A single fan in the room will very likely murder this poor thing with background noise.

Good grief, just how loud is this fan?

There is no Nintendo sequel that I would rejoice over more than this.

Holy crap, something positive from I...

But this isn't enough info for me.  It gives me hope sure but it's not enough.  This could be on the DS and I want it on the Wii.  It could be a spin-off.  It could be altered for non-gamers.  It could be farmed off to some B-team.  It could be a remake.  So I want to see it first.  I want to hear impressions.  I want confirmation that it's what I actually want.  A few years ago "we're working on this" was good enough but not anymore.  I'll admit it makes me a bit giddy if I think too much about it but I've got to stay grounded.  I don't trust Nintendo anymore so I have to wait and see

an...Never mind, everyone, sorry for the false alarm...

Quote from: Miyamoto
I think that there’s probably one other element to it, and that’s that our view of how we use E3 has changed. For a very long time, E3 was an event where — and certainly Nintendo included — catered specifically to the core gamer. Now we look at more … an opportunity for us to introduce new concepts and new types of play that we intend to bring to the broader audience, particularly because of the media that gathers at E3 now.

So while attending an E3 event like this, they might be given the impression that Nintendo is no longer focusing on the games that appeal to the core gamer, in fact we’re still working on many of those titles, but it’s just not the type of event where we’ll be showcasing that anymore.

E3 disappointing for the most part?  Yes...The end of the ****ing world?  No, so please chill out...

Have they confirmed who's developing it? My hope (oh God I wish this is true) is that Tokyo EAD is making the game. Iwata said that the Mario and Zelda teams were hard at work, but he didn't say on what. Most people assumed it would be on Mario and Zelda sequels, but I didn't see it that way at all

Many of the key members of the previous games are at NST now, as far as I know...

You mean, the sooner 360 gets Dead Rising 2 while Wii gets Dead Rising Sports.

This...I'm not supporting a game that is clearly being used to fund a potential sequel not on Wii...RE4/5 all over again...

I want 13 of these games and might get an extra 3...But most of these need bloody release dates (if they even exist anymore, like Kirby)... >=|

There's no need to be posting here if you aren't showing off your new Reggie avatar, now is there?

The scrolling is so distracting on the DS but why did that limitation have to carry over??

To show the sky...

July 18th Edition

Dead Rising (Wii)

~ Waggle port

Suddenly disappear?  That's because the game is utilizing the same curved, "planetary" world that the DS used, which is a bit of a shame, but without it you couldn't really show the sky, so I'll forgive it...

1213
It's a stylistic choice...Surely you weren't expecting a huge jump in visuals for a game like AC?

It already does...unless Rare somehow manages to screw up a near-identical port...Which is possible... =(

Was my answer really what you were aiming for?  If so, whoa...

Wii Fit is looking right at you.

Casual game...I see the MotionPlus as being more utilized in hardcore games...

I'd hate if they made it a Zelda game.

Make a new IP please! Let Miyamoto and Aunama handle Zelda.

Come to think of it, "Thief" would be absolutely perfect.

Link's Awakening sequel confirmed! :tpg:

But seriously, it's just plain business sense to use a tried-and-true franchise to utilize a new idea...When/If the idea succeeds, then newer ideas can be put forward...

"On release of B-K, Microsoft will be making the original Banjo-Kazooie title available on Live Arcade. No other details were mentioned, and it is still not certain whether it is a remake or a re-release."

It'd be hilarious if the original outsold the new one...

Why the hell do you want MORE drama around here?

Anyways, Wii MotionPlus + 1:1 movement + Sword-using in First-person + Rumor of Retro Studios making a Zelda spin-off + Retro Studios being quite adept in the realm of First-person = Far too similar to just be coincidental...I'm following my gut on this one!
