I really like it and got all of them except London one. My mom really loves it too
I remapped Zr and Zl to mirror L/R instead of quick access to menu . I like sharpness of hdmi , never have I seen such a clean sharp display for Mario world .
Also I forgot how brutal the game was , I got spoiled , Like i Have cape and get hit you downgrade to Mario not super Mario . 2 hits to death regardless of what power up you have.

Panorama View is a fun cool little video series but Nintendo should seriously pay up the money for HD quality for next set of videos and consider having one ap to house everything.
I know its a silly idea but I don't know if I'll ever visit some of those places so having a video tour like this is nice distraction. I totally like the idea of mario expanding this to game environments and having peaches castle or something else.

apple sort of ruined the pricing structure didn't they?
$8 is fine for one of the best 2D mario games of all time that looks great and sounds great and has great controls. I have it on GBA but i double dipped to see it on my HDTV. I didn't buy it before on Wii VC because I had the GBA game but something about playing this with HDMI and pure digital signal turned me on and being able to play on gamepad without need for any classic controllers is nice.
With all the ingame ads, micro transactions and crappy controls of phone games i feel that VC is still a very good deal.
I do think Nintendo needs to ditch this stupid rigid pricing. I'm sorry but DK Jr. is not worth $5 it has 4 levels that repeat, thats should remain .30 game forever. I know its subjective and nintendo likes uniformity but different games should have different prices.
I know it seems like i'm contradicting myself but I see that some games have more value than others and some classics are worthwhile and others are not ' full price ' material.

I have strong nostalgia for this game too but I recognize its not a great game . It's fun for about 3 minutes and gameplay like this just grows stale quickly . Same thing goes with other super simple arcade games like this and original donkey kong . I need more variety than 4 levels

WTF is Nintendo thinking ? This is pr nightmare and totally muddles the message instead of having a single unified presentation . I really like Nintendo direct but I love the spectacle of E3 big presentation . I guess we will see how they handle it

I wonder if they didn't have time for off TV play and the DLC content and if that can be fixed with patch/update in the upcoming weeks. I'm really excited for the game but the lack of other console features is a real deal killer for me and I fear this is the 'crappy Wii U version" not an equal version.
I might wait to pick this up on sale in a few months and hopefully they patch it and add stuff to be on par with other versions .

I'm starting to get really hyped for this . Looks great and creative . I hope it doesn't fall into same trappings of being too long . I gave up on inside story because it had the false ending and I just didn't care about it anymore

It doesn't have the Gamestop exclusive DLC. I don't even think the Wii U retail edition does. Shameful really, comes out same day as ps3/360 ones but doesn't have same features.

i do enjoy these types of games but I find difficult to really justify this for retail. is this a discounted price?
I could see this as a great $15 download, but 50 or $60 this hardly seems worth it. I really wish this was just DLC for Nintendoland and now its own game because I would rather just pick and choose what minigames I would want.
