i was the first person at gamestop to reserve it, and the first person to pick it up today. 

They guy was cool and gave me some EA stickers to place over the wiimote. They are black and I like them.

I just registered the game at club nintendo and got a clean 80 points. ( I intended to buy and doing the survey ) ok i'm about to play for first time.
I'm going to play for a little while than go to church, than go to my brothers house and play multiplayer all day with him. So maybe impressions later tonight

**** !!      I had a ton of problems this past night playing online.

1st I found a hacker. He was invincible and we were playing that hunter game and he was the one to be hunted. So I dropped out.

I found Mongoose and we talked and tried to play together but the game he didn't enter. Grrr.

Than it took forever in making a connection, and froze.
I restarted the Wii and got in a match and the cloud screen of death.

All of this within like 15 or so minutes. I was doing fine before that, but these glitches became a pattern when it was just random before. I emailed high voltage the username of the hacker. Who knows if they can do anything about it.

I agree with 30 minute cap.

I disagree with bi-weekly. I think it should only be once a week. Not much news is coming to really fill the time .

I thought up a great new idea for a mode in multiplayer:


" Sport "

You get points depending on certain things that happen during the match.

Kill : 1 point

1st kill in the match : 4 points
Last kill in the match: 4 points

Thief: If somebody almost kills somebody else and you come in and finish him off : 3 points
Revenge : Kill who just killed you : 3 points

Killing spree: score multiplies by 2 the total killed ( 4 spree x 2  = 8 points or whatever )
King Killer: If you kill the 1st place person : 3 points
Kill the last place person -1
Suicide : -2
Murder suicide : Use a rocket or grenade and kill yourself off and kill somebody off : 2 points


So its essentially free for all death match but ads some finer details to make it more interesting.

And if any ties pop up, whomever has the best accuracy wins the tie.


I already emailed this to High Voltage. I don't know if its been done before. What do you guys think of this potential mode I thought up ??

So I ran across my 1st definitive hax0r on the world servers, by the name of Nemy. He had a Carbonizer which needed no reloading, and I shot him point blank with the pistol, and his health didn't go down. 5 minutes in, he still had no deaths, and a ridiculous lead. I dropped out after he had 30 kills, whereas the 2nd place person had 10.

After  I loaded up the game after dinner, I seemed to have no luck joining games of any kind. I' spawn into the black areas, forcing reset after reset. I put the game away for its safety (why do you make me hit you?....)

As much as I'd like to let HVS know this is a problem, what can they do? They can't patch it, and they can't monitor every single game.

In short, a bad day for me 

I had a few problems today too. No hackers to my knowing but it took forever to actually get going. A few freezes.
I learned to reset the Wii, not turn off.
Last time I turned off it was hesitant to let me in. Said game data corrupted.
The data was fine but it didn't like it.

I would report that to high voltage software :

i haven't seen your around . Good stuff man. I'm online typically at night. I didn't mean to sound like a jerk I just don't win with friends. Kraken and Stratos are hardcore awesome so I take my enjoyment when I can.

Wii Sports Resort is going to be a juggernaut, and while this game does have different activities they need to do more to show off why people need to buy this game instead of, or in addition to Wii Sports Resort. The first one might have been a success but when you have the option to drink Dr. Pepper, why bother drinking Mr. Pibb...

mario and luigi 3 sound track ?? Very few if any DS games really have amazing sound .  The japanese store doesn't interest me.

I wish the blue wii sports resort wiimote offer was over here. I plan to registrar that asap.

Controls could be like MKWii Acceleration, Stop, Control stick / Wii Wheel and Speed boost (If i remember correctly there was a speed boost in the old games)

thats good for land, but water you go up and down really quickly it might not be quick enough. either that or the water will be tame and boring

The prices aren't horrible overpriced, but they aren't cheap either. I guess they want free advertisement of the game to the masses. Sadly the iPod speakers are NOT something you can buy. Pretty neat

great show guys. I don't think you should limit the games to a specific console in retro active . keep it spicy.

i put a few games on the list in that topic that are varied and different . Neo Geo, Virtual Console Arcade, and Sega Master System don't have that many games on their perspective console so that rule may come back to bite you in the butt. Also limiting the console also limits the gameplay that can be shown off.

what do you mean options?  see it is proper that if you state a problem that you also state your solution as well.  Simply saying like brawl is not enough.   examples, how you would make options in the game WSR and so on.

He wants more options like there are in Brawl. What kind of options are in Brawl?

Win condition options, what items you use options, music options, game parameter options...basically more choices in how you play.

yup.

example in wii sports baseball I would want option to move fielders , in bowling limit the game to 4 rounds, etc.

T vs Capcom is a very niche title.
Red Steel already was a hit, but I'm not sure if 2 will be worth while. Yeah WM+ support but no multiplayer so it better be 30 hours to justify itself.
