Am I the only one who's addicted to Frisbee Golf?  Sure, every now and then I make a completely horrible throw and my aggressive style lands me out of bounds way too often, but it's always a super relaxing experience.  Mind you, my right arm has been a little sore after playing multiple 18 hole rounds.

nope. i see that it works but i don't find it fun really. it's ok.

Just finished reading the Iwata Asks interview for Resort.  Awesome stuff.

And true story, brought Resort to a friend's place over the weekend, had a blast.  But at the opening sky diving sequence, the featured Mii was none other than... Ron Jeremy.

Ron Jeremy would take to the skies and in the first group, join hands with MY Mii and Michael Jackson.  Indeed.

The first time i played the game for me the mii that was sky diving was a female mii with a penis in her mouth. I laughed.

There's a scene in the movie "Hot Rod" where Andy Samberg's character is talking about a safe word for his stunt.  The safe word is "whiskey" but he pronounces it "hwhisskey" and when his team members ask him why he's saying it that way, he reponds "hwhy am i saying it hwhat hwhay?"

I was reminded of that scene listening to Jonny talk on this episode.  He really enunciates the crap out of those wh sounds.

now he is going to be self conscience of this quirk and it will annoy him.

sorry the new rfn is vastly superior, even random rants are more interesting.

having some clips of the episodes would have helped allot. I remember some of the stuff they talked about ( magic the gathering) but it just felt like they vomited this up .

if another reunion happens, i won't be joining.

Sexy Poker is neutered. The ESRB made them get rid of the nudity.

How is the Arcade game different from the NES game of Tecmo Bowl ??

So instead of nothing we get a double dip . lame.

Overturn might be fun. It has local and online multiplayer modes.

Oh thank goodness, VC isn't dead just yet. Tecmo Bowl is out this week; seems like a good choice to get people's attention once more!

That came out forever ago. I have it sitting on the SD card as I speak.

I really enjoy 3x3 basketball too. It's simple and fun. I loved the discussion on Virtual Console . The dialog about reviews and game developers was excellent too.

Seriously amazing job. I rated RFN 5 stars right now on iTunes. I reviewed it a while ago but I rated it on the info page as well.

Delays--one right after then other.  It's going a freaking drought this winter and an easy win for GOTY since all the big hits have been delayed until spring 2010.

Think all my 2009 picks have finally fallen into 2010 though I called EB and they still honoring my Red Steel 2 bundle with motion control plus (they made a mistake and listed it at $40 instead of $60 ).

RE and Deadspace is still coming and my cuz is going love TMNT but it's a going be slow year compared to last.

I figured out when your playing sword play dual if you run out of time and the game is a tie. The circle you play the final round in goes to tiny to make it faster.

It's pretty cool little animation as it cuts and lowers the playing field to the little blue circle.
 

You can counter spamming in Dual with some well placed blocks. So it's not a guarantee win. My friend swings wildly and he didn't win every match. I still think Nintendo should have put a ' arm meter' or something where if you swing a ton your arm gets tired. Something like that would have gone a long way.

I don't think the calibration controversy of the motion plus is very much over blown. I rarely if ever have problems.

My brother loves cycling, and I think it's brainless waggle and steering is awful.
i tried to get into wake boarding but it's just to brainless and I agree with the review. If I could control the tricks with button presses than I would love the mode.

I enjoy bowling more because of the spin, and golf I think is now playable but still boring as golf is. The 100 pin golf mode is fun to watch the physics.

I agree with this review except for stamps. Achievements and Trophies and now Stamps are for your satisfaction. Showing them off is akin to screaming how big your penis is. Overall stamps, achievements and Trophies are wastes of time regardless of the system. They are neat little ways to extend play time but not a big deal overall. I just don't get why people love over them so much.

Technically Nintendo is to blame here more than HVS. It's not HVS' fault that the Wii is so easily modded, and unsigned code can be run with practically no effort. I'm pretty sure Wii games do support patches. Call of Duty World at War's online multiplayer was patched, but I don't know if it was done server-side or console side, since I've never played it online.

tell me more about that.

actually IGN said it was you have your own house or something on one of the islands

I got a email with some codes for watching the title. Apparently if you hold 2 button before table tennis match you get to play a faster mode that doubles the score to win. I haven't tried it myself yet.

it's rookie mistakes.

I don't understand how they are powerless to fix it. I am not a super geek but can't they do a patch or something. I heard some games have done this for Wii.

i tried to fly into the sun. They said you must stop and than magically popped up near the island again. I just fly due west into the sun way past anythng. I was wondering if invisible wall existed or if it would be a globe aspects were you would return on the other side.

i don't mind the 5 minute limit. i spoiled all the unlockables so far above.

Whoa!  Boyfriend/girlfriend FIGHT!  Canoeing.  "Hold the remote like you would if we were actually canoeing!  We've gone canoeing beofre, you could do that!  Turn Right!  Right!  Gaaaagh!"

Then she beat me at Table Tennis.

I played this for a while with my brother and I couldn't get it right.
Now I played alone and read the instructions carefully and it works great. You need to do a forward arch motion . When I figured it I was happy and felt that motion plus really is something worth while.

Airplane mode is great. I have less than 10 of the i locations left.
They actually make it more interesting as you play and collect more i things.

I have a two seater plane. It can shoot two things at once. I can fly at night. At night fire works happens and the city is light up. The blimp has my mii face on it.

if you play the free fall sky diving mode again you can take pictures.

makes sense you could send those pictures to friends.

high scores are all over the game. you would think leader boards would fit . Or even being able to trade those scores to your wii friends to compete that way.

I understand that WM+ plus online play might be tricky to work out , so online vs might be difficult.

however having " check mii out" channel support and not having other basic things just makes no sense. I guess either have nothing or all.

The Online connectivity is pathetic.

Basically the only online feature is the fact you can allow the game to use miis found on the ' check mii out channel '. So if you don't have that many mii's you can use some of those. I allowed it, but I already have 100 so whatever.

Such a waste Nintendo. It's like they are telling you " wii can go online but we don't feel like working harder so here is something "

Ok so my brother and I just spent a few hours playing this game. It was a blast.

We went in order of the mini games.

Sword Fighting he would spam allot, but I could block some of that and he would stop and it would get interesting.

dog frisbee it was good, we just haven't gotten the rhythm yet on how to toss.

My brother and I had trouble with free throws in basketball. I don't get the hate for 3x3 . Sure it's not traditional but we still had a blast with it.

we played canoeing for a while.  It works but not perfectly. We collected all the ducks in like 30 minutes. It only unlocks a stamp not a mode or anything

archery was fairly fun once we got the hang of it.

I thought wake boarding was more interesting than I expected, but still a little simple. If I could control my own tricks that would have been awesome.

I enjoyed bowling more in this game than before. Spin is now present. I could never spin the ball liked I wanted in the original and now it works. The 100 pin mode is so much fun. That physics is fun to watch in replays.

Golf is now playable (where it wasn't before IMO) . I still get to much curving left or right but that's just my lack of skill.

airplane is relaxing and fun to just fly around the island and find places.
dogfight is to slow and the island is a little to big for only 2 players, fun still though.

table tennis is a head trip because I expect Wii Sports Tennis controls to work, but it's much better. I enjoy it.

cycling is ass.. PURE Waggle  . I don't like turning either.

power cruising is pretty fun,  I don't know if I can control as I land as much as I thought.
