For anyone who wants the wireless chuck and a wireless classic controller, amazon's DOD has them combined for a total of 19.99.  I had to cancel my previous order of the karma for 15, so this works out quite nicely:

Does this game still exist, anyone heard anything?

I've never heard the original, but I found this cover pretty impressive.

Oh yeah, forgot about that old crusty man.  He must have taken me a week, he definitely was the hardest.

IMO it was the guy right before the end guy in Super Punch Out that was the hardest.  Once I finally beat him, the last guy was a breeze.

I own Super Punch-Out!! but I don't like it because it is too difficult for me.

I'm just glad this game's title still has two exclamation points.

Really?? Then the original must be brutal!  I still haven't beat the original, but I've always faired well in the sequel.  I believe my record for Gabby Jay is 9 seconds, and 17 seconds on the first boss, Piston Honda maybe???

For those that don't have the patience to wait for it to pop on VC, pick up Fight Night Round 2 for the Cube.  It actually has Super Punch Out inside of it for some odd reason.  Its unlock-able from the start.  In addition, if you beat it, you can use Mac in Fight Night.

It should be around 10 bux used.

Anyone else here own Super Punch Out?  I don't think there's any way they can top that one.  Its in my top five of all time.

Prediction:  The motion controls in this game will be a total disaster.  Thank God they're giving us another option.

I want to be excited for this game but those robots just aren't doing much for me.  I'm going to reserve judgement until I can at least see some videos.

It seems everyone I'm fighting online now is Ken or Zangeif.

Bunch of scared little girls they are.

I'd play Excite Truck over any Wipeout game. I actually am kind of excited to see what they do with the futuristic robot designs. Not to mention it has been in development since Excite Truck!

Now that Wipeout HD has Sixaxis support, I actually play them both at the same time.

Yeah I know these have wheels but I mean the futuristic design. Not to mention even the flame coming out of the back is the same color.

You know you just opened a can of worms in putting those pix side by side right??   8)

huh, not a bad vid, i subscribed

I was hoping for something more along than lines of "killer robots from outer space", rather than, "robots here to save the day and teach your kids how to poop".

1469
So did ExciteTruck sell like ass because it wasn't kiddy enough?

Most likely.  I picked it up for 16 bux new at Circuit City a LONG time ago.

1470
It looks like a child from Stunt Race FX and Diddy Kong Racing.

1471
You know what I see?  STUNT RACE FX 2!!!

Haha, I wish.  Stunt Race was the BOMB!  I wake up every monday hoping to spot it on the VC.

We're screwed people.  We're totally screwed.  Its all over, shut the forums down, pack it up, move on, nothing to look forward to here.

Look for Little Big Contra in the cool pages in LBP.

Found it thanks!

Man, the controls in LBP + the difficulty of Contra almost made me through the controller through the TV.

« on: March 01, 2009, 04:23:52 PM »
Flower is decent but I'm not sure what all the hype is about. It is a very simple game and I don't mean pick up and play simple but everything in pretty simple in design. You start out as one petal and move it (via the wind) to other flowers. More land is revealed as you get all or most of the flower petals to follow you. I really hate the invisible boarders (Or should I say WIND borders).

It's a game that you play and feel relaxed and such it's a pretty game it actually reminded me of endless ocean except flower is very linear, I also like the hidden story and theme of Flower. What I like about flower is that it is vastly different from the usual PS3 game.

Flower is not just a game, its transcendental digital zediitation.  After finishing the game, I learned a lot about myself, the world, and the entire universe.  It has led me to the realization that smoking banana peels is probably not a good idea after all.

Did anyone else learn anything?
