When is this due for release again? If I lose my resolve to keep my new year's resolution of buying less games (agh) this could be the first Alone in the Dark game I play!
IGN just said that June 24th. One day after my birthday and on my moms birthday.

I have the feeling Nintendo Power will not be the only giving Okami a bad review because its a port...

Nintendo Power run by hardcore Nintendo fanbois. Confirmed.
NP gave Guiest a 5.0 and Pokemon Battle Revolution a 6.0.

Tonight the update is All star mode. Get it by getting all the characters. I hadn't noticed this the first time I played All Star but the order you play All Star is dependent on when the games for the series was released. Oh I am going to a friends house in the morning so I won't be on till probably 7:00 pm.

Tonight is one of my favorite stages Pirate Ship. There are lots of obstacles in this stage like a flipper at the front of the ship that will send you flying if you dawdle to much, to a tornado that will lift the boat up highand platform firing bombs at the ship, to a rock that makes the back of the ship sink and there is the king of red lions that can save you from a untimely demise. The music is quite good as well. I like Tal Tal Hights and Gurudo Valley. To unlock this stage unlock Toon Link. Now back to the Final episode of Rurouni Kenshin

Ok, I had WiFi options and spectator mode previously, but now they're gone. Sort of the reverse of what has happened to everyone here. I turned on the option for downloadable content and I still receive the levels, replays and whatnot even without the option to turn them on or off.

Has anyone encountered something similar?
The same has happened to me this is odd.

If this is a April fools joke I guess I am a fool unless I am proven otherwise I will change my Avatar to something more fitting.

Ummm, it isn't an obvious joke to everyone.  I haven't bothered, but I bet if you actually look for the press release you won't find it... is that proof enough for you.
I guess thats enough I went and checked after I posted and it is true ah well I will keep my avatar until Wiiware as a reminder to not be so naive.

Let the speculation begin!!! For brawl I think Classic Megaman, Geno, Earthworm Jim and Viewtiful Joe. For stages perhaps a old school Bowser level and maybe a Dr. Mario stage where pills and viruses are falling everywhere. For Twilight Princess I think a Boss Rush mode or more weapons. For Mario Kart I would have All of the tracks, items and characters in the entire series. For MP3 perhaps more items for Samus to use or another planet. I haven't played Fire Emblem so I am not sure maybe more troops or bosses.

Not that I don't believe you but where did you find this?

It comes from this German magazine article about the game.  Here's a scan of the page which list all the Retro tracks on the very bottom.

I like that Yoshi track down at the bottom on the left side it is like the Sphinx. I wonder what Pro thinks of the Daisy Circuit?

Tonight the update is Wolf. To unlock him play 450 brawl matches, Beat boss battles after beating TSSE with Fox or Falco or pass through the door in the ruins area in TSSE after beating TSSE. All of these you have to fight him to unlock him.Very interesting details for his special attacks.

This Mondays games are Crusin USA for the N64 and Wonderboy for the Sega Master System. I remember playing Crusin USA. I liked all the unlockables. As for Wonderboy haven't played it or any SMS games. What are some good games for it?

Cruisin' was one of those terrible games I did not yet know was terrible. haha
I would have to disagree with you the first two were good after that I would have to agree.

Some of us STILL don't know that they're terrible.
Well it is my opinion.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Gamecube games were harder than Wii games.
« on: March 29, 2008, 07:20:31 PM »

Guess I figured Veteran was the same as Hard in previous Metroid games which used to be a bit harder than I could handle, I'd usually get stuck on one of the later bosses (Ridley or the final boss)

Actually you're kind of right.  Veteran mode is pretty close in difficulty to Prime 1's Hard Mode, where some of the enemies take a huge amount of hits just to kill.  Of course it's not as bad as Prime 2's Hard mode when some of the boss fights in that game become extremly cheap when the enemies required twice as many hits to beat.

Of course in a way then Prime 3's difficulty is kind of unbalanced when I think about it.  Normal Mode in Prime 3 was made extremly easy so anyone could beat it, while Veteran Mode was made to be about as hard as Prime 1 and 2's Hard Modes.  So for people that couldn't beat Prime 1 and 2's Normal modes only because of the later bosses, but could play the rest of the game, what are their choices then?  They can play Normal mode but it'd be too easy or they could play Veteran mode which would be too hard.

It seems then that maybe Prime 3 needed 4 difficulty settings then to really appeal to everyone.  They should have renamed Normal, Easy mode since that's what it was.  Had a Normal mode which was around Prime 1's Normal mode and then called Veteran, Hard mode since it's closer to Prime 1's Hard.

Of course Hyper could be left the same since as the name says, it's a Hyper ****ing difficulty that takes forever to beat.  Having to fight a boss for over close to 2 hours only to die at the last second because your hands are starting too hurt is NOT fun.  Seriously, I want to punch whoever designed the Mogenar boss fight right in the face.  He was annoying enough in Veteran but on Hyper, the fight makes you want to throw your TV right through the damn window.
I disagree with you I haven't beat MP on normal but I have beaten all the difficulties on MP3 except Hyper I am on Phaze. I would have to agree that the difference between controls makes a difference.

HOLY ****ING SH*T
http://gonintendo.com/?p=39017

Dracula X: Rondo of Blood is hitting the Virtual Console in Japan this April.  This means the chances are really good it will come to America eventually as well.

Espiecally since the PSP remake of the game bombed, I'd imagine Konami would want to release this right away in America.  Since nobody bought the PSP game, Konami doesn't have to worry about this effecting sales since there's no sales for this game to effect.

Plus if an unknown game like DoReMi got released here in America, then it's almost a given since Rondo of Blood is from a well known series in America.
This is great news. I am kinda like Kairon in that I haven't played many Castlevania games. Of those that I have played I have enjoyed.InstaDownload.

Well big titles like Final Fantasy and such.

I think our only chance of it hitting this fall is if Nintendo doesn't have any big first party games to fill in the season, which I hope isn't the case.
This is why I don't like not knowing when titles come out. The only title that I can think of coming out is Diasaster:DOC in November. This is annoying.

15223
And they fail to mention the biggest differences in the boomerang.  It can actually hit things on the return (gale boomerang does not)

Toon Link's boomerang for that reason alone is more useful than Link's (IMO) as I never seen the gale really "tie people up"
I have seen Links boomerang bring people back a little. I think all Link's Boomerrang is to make the enemy off balance to set up an attack. While Toon Link isn't as strong and needs that extra hit.

OK the release date for Japan has been confermed as June 26th this year 3 days after my birthday. So this begs the question when are getting the game here? I think in between the 15th of October and and the 15th of November. What do you think?
