At least they're not trying to dump copies of PDZ on people.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: The Settlers is coming to DS
« on: July 07, 2006, 07:52:45 PM »
Gah! Settlers II was awesome. I'm not sure what it was. The game just had a lot of heart. I never actually battled anyone in it. I just enjoyed the scenery. Sweet deal. I'll be getting this if all turns out alright.

Remember, if you want to make use of your warrentee, you're going to have to send it back to Japan and deal with Nintendo Japan, not NOA.

I've never had any consoles die. In fact, the only piece of hardware I can remember failing has been my poor old 4th gen 40 gig iPod. Actually, it wasn't even the hardware's fault. I downloaded the latest apple firmware and it killed it. Completely. I had it restored and working for about a day but then it just blew up. Of course, this was one month after the warranty expired. I didn't bother attempting to have it replaced. Even though thousands of other people had the same thing happen. Apple blows.

NEVER update your products if they work fine.

That'd be rough. I should've entered this contest. Luckily I've freed up a bit of credit for mid-june and my new DS lite. It is a mid-june release, eh?

Nintendo Gaming / Nintendo Press Conference E3 2006 - Audio off
« on: May 12, 2006, 12:34:44 PM »
I just attempted to view nintendos press conference with no audio. Attempting to lip read reggie's lips is hypnotizing. Seriously. Try it out. They're all over the place.

Lord. ok. I need another 50 bucks to throw down on this game. I just bought Minish Cap and Omega Factor and now Hunters is out and I need to find cash for NSMB. This isn't fair. So much for getting a DSL to replace my Mariokart DS. :/

Glad to hear this game turned out so well.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Tie In ratio?
« on: March 20, 2006, 10:50:46 AM »
That must be gold worthy. I mean, I don't know anyone who owns more than 3 or 4 games for their PS2. Actually, most people I know who actually own or consider owning a ps2 do it for the wrong reasons. These are the people that can stand to play driver3. I suppose they're the ones who wouldn't purchase a gamecube. Not sure what I'm saying here.
