Howdy,
I was wondering what up with Samus not taking her suit off at the end of Metroid Prime, like they did in the Super Nintendo? Do you think they were saving it for Prime 2?

Nintendo Gaming / Gameboy Advance Killer??
« on: May 07, 2003, 03:42:57 PM »

In a recent new article by MSNBC (Microsoft owned) they ran an article about a new Palm handheld gaming system. Here are a few quotes that might get Nintendo moving to make a new Gameboy...NOT!

"  The Tapwave executives hope to compete with those two units (GBA and N-Gage) on the basis of superior technology.
The Helix boasts twice the color palate of the Game Boy and nearly 16 times that of the N-Gage. It offers a screen resolution well sharper than either one and a much larger screen size. "

"Connell and Lim (the makers) said the target audience for the Helix consists of people 18 years to 34 years old who have largely ''graduated'' from Nintendo Co. Ltd.'s Game Boy Advance portable gaming unit. "

LOL!!!!!! Graduated from GBA? That's just plain funny. I couldn't seem to find any tech spec or pictures. Has anybody heard anything more about this "thing"? How could anybody even consider competing with GBA SP? 1000's of games, everybody and there momma is making games for GBA. Anyways, just thought it was funny.

Nintendo Gaming / Young Link
« on: May 03, 2003, 06:40:40 PM »
I have a question thats going me a little confused. How can Link be the hero of time in Zelda: Windwaker if he's not old enough. Remember what the Sage of Light told Link in the Ocarina of Time after he becomes big?

"The Master Sword is a sacred blade which evil ones may never touch.... Only one worthy of the title of "Hero of Time" can pull it from the Pedestal of Time.... However, you were too young to be the Hero of Time.... Therefore, your spirit was sealed here for seven years. "

Whats going on here? Is Link supposedly an Adult in Windwaker? I remember Miyamoto saying that the realistic graphics wouldn't work for an adult Link, so he much be a young link...aggggrrr. What do ya'll think?

The wind blew, the Windwaker has taken off.

« on: February 07, 2003, 05:46:04 PM »
Welcome to the Zelda news column,

I recently read (http://www.gamecubenetwork.com/#2270) that Mr. Miyamoto said that the new Zelda for Gamecube has already been started.

Question for all ya'll Zelda fans:

What do you want in the next Zelda game?
What should they get rid of from Zelda games?

Thanks for reading...may the Tri-Force be with thee,
