Title: Samsung challenges Nokia and the N-Gage
Post by: BlackNMild2k1 on July 02, 2004, 11:00:48 AM
It appears that Samsung has decided to go for the mobile 3d market by releasing a new flip phone that looks better than the N-Gage.

I wonder if game stores would even bother putting a Ngage contender in their stores.

This one's a real phone. The phone gaming market is HUGE, especially in the east. The NGage was underpowered compared to other, real phones and didn't offer anything the others didn't. Games for generic phone APIs are huge sellers and a big market, much larger than the market for NGage exclusive games. Basically the NGage is just a badly designed phone with proprietary lock-in.

Im still pissed that the release of the Ngage-QD  basically ruined sidetalking.com that was a great funny, weird site.
