Title: A good s-video cable besides nintendo
Post by: Capetalf on June 30, 2004, 06:57:31 PM
Does anyone know which brand is the best, besides Monster Cable an Nintendo? Monster is very expensive, and Nintendo only sells to U.S. (I'm in Brazil).

Definitely look for the GameCube-only S-Video cable by Mad Catz.  Highly recommended.

Monster is expensive but their cables are high quality.

Have multiple consoles?  I'd recommend picking the MadCatz SNES/N64/Gamecube/PSone/PS2/Xbox (older version has Dreamcast instead of Xbox) universal cable (should only be $10, about the same price or a dollar or two more than a single-console cable).  That is, unless you have a nice A/V switcher, then maybe you might want to go with dedicated cables to decrease any sort of random signal degradation.

You can get a 6 foot Monster Cable at target.com for only $19.99 US. Linky

By the way, does anyone know what the difference is between the 100, 200, and 300?
