Post by: DL_992 on June 24, 2004, 05:28:48 AM
Well im really new to the whole animal crossing thing and i bought my copy of AC used. So there is no manual let  me cut to the chase im buying my friends GBA and was wondering. How the heck i get out to the island do i just hook the gba up with no game in it or do they have animal crossing for the gba and if so will i need it to get to the islands?

You hook the GBA up to the Gamecube and turn the GBA on. Then you go to the dock in your town and there will be a boat to take you to the island. No GBA game is needed, just the system.

It sure wastes a lot of your batteries though.  I would advise you that it's a complete waste and to forget about it.  But that's just me.

Its doesnt waste alot of battery power(especially with a SP or rechargable batteries) i guess evil intentions is a uber power conserver.

It always seems to make my GBA lose all of it's batteries and I turn it off as soon as I get on the island.  And no, I'm not a power conserver, I'm just saying that it's a waste.

I left it on for a few hours doing this.  So I'm not sure what to tell you.  I found it work the fish and fruit there.
