Title: Pokemon Colosseum Help
Post by: Pale on June 21, 2004, 08:01:47 PM
So I'm finally trying to finish this game and i would like an extremely spoiler free answer to a couple questions..

#1 (Answer yes or no)
Is the master ball required to catch any of the pokemon in the game? (a la mewtwo)

#2 (If the answer is yes in the first one)
Is Tyranitar that pokemong that requires the Master Ball?

Thanks in advance

Ummm...The Master Ball isn't required to catch any pokemon in ANY Pokemon game...It just makes it a lot easier...

Well then you should have thrown the master ball at Mewtwo.

In the Gold version I tried and tried to catch Ho Oh without the master ball and failed.  No matter what I did I couldn't catch it.

When i encountered Mewtwo in Blue i threw a Great ball at him on full health and caught him first go. I guess i was lucky.

If I threw anything but a master ball the ball just completely missed him.  Drove me up the damn wall.
