Title: Rainbow Six 3 for GameCube Trailer
Post by: Jonnyboy117 on June 09, 2004, 04:17:33 PM
Tom Clancy strikes again on GameCube with next week's release of Rainbow Six 3.  See the trailer now, including plenty of in-game footage of the GameCube version.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 will finally arrive on GameCube next week, and we have the new trailer from Ubisoft.  The trailer is about half CG, half gameplay, with all footage shot from the new GameCube version of the game.  This is the first time the game has been shown in motion; it wasn't even on display at E3 last month.

From what I gather from the trailer, this game needs LOTS OF WORK.

For starters, GIVE THESE COUNTER-TERROR IDIOTS SOME HELMETS!!  Did "safety" go out the window?  Like hell are they gonna crash thru windows without protective headgear.  If they're gonna run around without helmets and crash thru glass windows, they'd better have bloody scraped heads as they tango hunt.

The tangos are slow and don't seem dangerous, they might even be friendly.  Very poor reaction time.

Graphically, it's a step above Ghost Recon (console) and 2 steps below Conflict Desert Storm II.  The framerate here is *barf*.

I never liked this recent Ubi-dumbing-down of the Tom Clancy game development brand.

Ubisoft really need to slow down. Their massive Tom Clancy obsession has just resulted in each new game getting crappier and crappier.
