Title: Press conference locations?
Post by: FoxWing on May 04, 2004, 08:02:42 PM
Hey guys!
I was wondering if anyone knows where the press conferences are going to be held this year? All I've been able to find out are the times.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! ^_^

As long as Nintendos conference is last then its good. I remember when Sony had their conference and claimed Soul Calibur 2 would be exclusive then Nintendo had theirs and debunked that. That was so funny

Unfortunately, it's not...Microsoft is on Monday, Nintendo's is Tuesday, and Sony's takes place right after Ninty's on the same day...

Nintendo's press conference is going to be held at the Kodak Theater, same place as last year.
MS conference is at 7:30 pm Monday night, Nintendo's is 10:30 am Tuesday, and Sony's is later that day but I don't know what time exactly. I will be attending the MS and Nintendo one. Not sure on Sony.

The Kodak theatre again? Cool! Thank you Berto2K! I took a chance and reserved my hotel a few blocks from there so I wouldn't have to take an expensive taxi ride. ^_^
So you say you're going to the Microsoft conference too? This is the first year I'll be there in time on Monday to attend it. Where is it taking place?
Thanks!!

Hey, I saw the Tecmo/Lei Fang model let a "Janet Jackson" slip by back at E3 2001.

The conference is in LA, just as always, so it's PST...

Seems as though Sony has rescheduled their press conference. It is now at 8 am on tuesday, running until 10 am. Nintendo's is still the same at 11 am. 10:30 am would be the check-in time for us media folks.

Why does it matter if Nintendo is last? Don't they have this entire thing planed out from the beginning so it really wouldn't make a difference.

Your probably right, but occasionally it lets them counter some stuff their competitors might say, like my example on Soul Calibur 2.
Of course, it all will be moot, if it turns out to be a stinker like their E3 conference last year...

That's pretty pessimistic considering all the stuff that will be revealed this year...
