I know alot of you (probably all of you), don't know me. Anyway, I've been *lurking* around for a while, and just recently got around to actually registering. Anyway, I live in the Florida area, around clearwater, close to Tampa. I love the Gamecube and I love the games on it, but I have a problem. Alot of the best games are played with 4 people, and none of my friends want to play with me.
Anyway, I thought a Florida get together would be awesome.
Just a bunch of people, find someplace to spend the day, bring your gamecubes, maybe some T.V's. Have a great day of Double Dash, Smash Brothers, Crystal Chronicles....Custom Robo
Anyway, I'm not getting anything arranged, unless I know there is anybody in the Florida area around here.
So, are they forumers on here from Florida?

You obviousy want some people to play GC with, but seriously, the internet, especially a forum or *shudders* a chatroom, are certainly NOT the best places to go. it's really for your own safety. I would assume most people here would be pretty safe, but I wouldn't put alot of trust into many people. The best place to find people to play with is in your school. You've probably asked your friends, but they most likely don't own a gamecube because it's "teh kiddie." Ask around. You make new friends by having something in common, and the GC (or even gmaing in general) is a good thing that two people can talk about to get to know each other.
Nerds make better friends than popular kids, anyway. ^_^

Nintendo nerds are a different brand of nerd entirely. Actually clever, intellectual, tasteful, funny, and very sexy.

I was actually just wondering if there was anyone that lived around me in my age group. As the person above me said, most of the kids in my school, go for X-box or PS2, because the GCN is to kiddie

i don't even know anyone who plays ps2 or xbox besides GC
aside from my brother, but he's not a gamer like us
