Post by: Jonnyboy117 on April 16, 2004, 03:24:40 PM
Download it free.

Capcom has released the first-ever official video of Resident Evil 4, the highly anticipated sequel for GameCube.  The trailer is nearly a minute and a half long, with a resolution of 320x240.  We expect to have a higher-res version next week.  Until then, click above or below to start your free download!

Resident Evil 4 Trailer (13.6 MB, MPEG format)
Resident Evil 4 Trailer (hi-res version, 28.7 MB, MPEG format)

The trailer showcases many of the now-famous characters, settings, and gameplay elements.  You'll see dozens of crazed villagers, including the "chainsaw guy".  You'll see Leon kick open doors, jump out of windows, and swim to his boat.  You'll see a giant ogre and a fearsome alligator.  You'll see some of the best graphics ever seen on GameCube.  This is a must-have download!

Um... yeah.  The link is incorrect.  If they haven't fixed the link yet before you read this, the way to fix it is to take out the word forums from the address.  Copy the link, paste it in the address bar, and erase the word "forums" along with the "/" that comes right after it.

Its just cause its a cut and pasted link from the main news site....so it put in the forum path prefix here causing it to be messed up from the forums...

Then it needs absolute pathing.

It's fixed now.  Sorry folks, quirk of the Talkback script!  The link on the real site page worked from the start.
