Title: Zelda Scandal: Is Wind Waker Ganondorf truly evil?
Post by: WorshipTheCheese on February 25, 2004, 12:31:13 AM
I just don't see how an ancient criminal mastermind can walk around with a smiley-face on the back of robes!

It's not a smily face its a pig face like Ganon in Lttp and OoT. Smily face! Pah!

No offense, but anyone with the forum name WorshiptheCheese should be shot.  Several times, preferably.

But yes, he is very mean.  Smiley faces have a lot of dark secrets, y'know.

Well, I think he actually had a reason to try and take over Hyrule, but he let his megalomania take over him...

It's more of an evil grin if you ask me.

What the?!  Of course Ganondorf is evil.  He captured the beautiful Zelda for crying out loud! Who would ever be so evil as to take my precious Zelda?  Whoever would do that is cruel.

Yeah, I agree with Worship. I think Ganon is just a product of his times, a poor child forced into a life of crime by society's expectations of him. And Link, that EVIL Link. Always keeping Ganon down when all he really wants is to be happy. ^_^

Hitler was also a product of his times, does that make him OK?

However, any goofiness in Ganondorf's dress style is dwarfed by an off-the-scale reading from the badass-o-meter when he whipped out those two swords!

In Ganondorf's case, any smile he gives you means "I'll kick the crap out of you if you say one word to me."

Ganon couldn't be anything but evil. In OoT he was born a thief...not to mention the only guy in a society of women... Besides...you can't blame his wicked ways on society...He lived in the thieves fortress as a child (or the desert...OoT never says). He was born evil. Like George Bush or The Creator of Barney. *shudder*

No, the theives Fortress is where the Gerudos live. Ganon is a gerudo (the last one in fact) and so lived at the fortress. In the events leading up to WW he took over an abandoned fortress which became known as the Forsaken Fortress.

George Bush is good. Ganon is evil. Keep politics away from games. ESPECIALLY THE LEGEND OF ZELDA!!
