Nobuo Uematsu's personal home page (now in English!) has information on a new live concert: "Dear Friends: Music from Final Fantasy."
Unprecedented for a video game franchise, only FINAL FANTASY's award-winning scores and series composer Nobuo Uematsu's highly respected, original compositions will be featured by the acclaimed Los Angeles Philharmonic, at L.A.'s newest and most talked about venue. The Concert Hall's curving, silver lines and interactive experience serve as the perfect backdrop for an evening of FINAL FANTASY music. Already world-renowned for exceptional video game soundtracks, SQUARE ENIX further pushes the envelope with this symphony concert event. In the same way that FINAL FANTASY pioneered the next generation of gaming, the music may encourage similar events that celebrate and commemorate video game music.

The performance will feature some of the most memorable music from a wide range of FINAL FANTASY video games, scored by Uematsu, performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
Please note that this is a different project from Tommy Tallarico's project, Video Games Live At Hollywood Bowl, which is also happening in Los Angeles around E3.

They original scheduled it for the closing night of E3 last year, and I hope that's what they do this year.
For you guys who don't remember, Tallarico has done a bunch of video game soundtracks as a freelance kinda guy. His most well-known is probably the Earthworm Jim soundtrack. He also hosts a TV show on G4 or TechTV or something.
