Title: What is the cheapest way to get Cable on my LCD Intec Gaming Screen?
Post by: dubdub57 on January 10, 2004, 07:06:08 PM
Alright this post is less about gamcube and more about video and cable stuff. I have and Intec gaming screen for gamecube, it came with an AV in cable, (the one with a yellow video in and the two audio in cables.) the small LCD screen has no TV tuner, so here is my question CAN I GET ANY SIGNAL THAT COMES THROUGH A COAXIAL CABLE TO SHOW UP ON THE SCREEN. THEN GET CABLE ON THE SCREEN. I know its possible but can anyone tell me the cheapest way.
I need to get a cable tv signal to show up some how on a LCD screen with no tv tuner and AV inputs, PLEASE HELP Me, Whats the cheapest way????

If you have a vcr run that to the output, use the coax as input, easiest way I can think of.

The above is good, but if your looking for a smaller solution try a RF Modulator it has coaxial input AV ouput and antenna input. Plus its much smaller then a VCR.

That RF Modulator is not a solution. You would need something with coax input and AV output--an RF modulator goes the other direction. If you do find a box that goes the proper direction, it would need some sort of channel changing capability; otherwise it would probably be stuck on channel 3. Just go the VCR route.
