Title: What are the extra ports on the bottom of the GCN?
Post by: Saturn2888 on January 09, 2004, 03:28:10 PM
What are the extra ports on the bottom of the GCN?  I can't figure it out.  There's a high speed port not in use and another serial port.
Also, would Nintendo do a RAM adding thing like w/ the N64?

Nintendo has a thing to keep its opitions open. Currently only one of the ports isn't accounted for (The smaller of the two paraelle ports.)

Now that could be something very cool.  You're probably right, I never thought about the new thing Nintendo is releasing in congruence w/ they new mystery.

Could it be similar to Microsoft's MSN watches which use FM transmissions to accept data, perhaps? Imagine paying a subscription and getting a NES game a day!
Or else a NESpod, like an iPod, with the NES Videogame Store. $2 a game.

I love feeding the mill!

It's just there to give you something to ponder over while you wait for Crystal Chronicles to arrive.
