Title: Beyond Good and Evil only $10 for PS2

I was looking through my local Circuit City ad this morning when I saw an ad FOR PS2 that said 9.99 for Beyond Good and Evil. My guess is that the ps2 isn't getting good sales for hte game. Well maybe that will be really good for gamecube cuz 3rd parties will look to the cube. I checked www.circuitcity.com and they didn't have it online so I guess its in store only. What do u think is it in your local ad?

Do you know if the game is used or not? That could explain it.
Still...ten bucks for it...that's a bargain in Canada, especially for such a new game.

It's most likely a misprint since Circuit City does not sell used games, but if the price for Beyond Good & Evil is $9.99 for the PS2, I would pick one up for my best friend's girlfriend. Everytime she sees me playing BG&E on my GameCube she comments on how cool the game is.

It's not a misprint. The game was discontinued so alot of store are marking it down. K & B toys had it for $20 for all systems.
Just trying to get rid of them, better to make $10 then nothing at all.

Wha- f##k, discontinued? Sounds like I need to get it for PC ASAP, since it was abandoned in Europe before it even came out for GC and XBVbox.

Actually according to UBI-soft the game wasn't discontinued but it said the price was reduced to $20 retail because the game didn't sell.
Quite a few games will going down similar roads since software sales in general wasn't as high as many expected.
