Miyamoto was unwilling to risk the player's discomfort and revived him instantly. He is a deeply unserious artist.

Nintendo announced two Directs for the coming week. So that's 992 covered.
Episode 991 has a lot of stuff. I do not remember this stuff because I was very sleepy.
I also took very few notes. One note just reads "this is funny," presumably I was supposed to type something after it.
I'm going to rely in Guillaume's notes from the episode edit - he could have slipped any game in here and I'd likely not question it too hard.
One thing I do know is that I started the show with Two Point Museum. It's a silly "Tycoon" style game, running a bunch of museums with a very British sense of humor. My impressions were very early, mostly about how they adapted a very PC style of game to Switch 2.
Guillaume had a lot of content this week: Wolfenstein 3D, which he felt was very dated - obviously. He also got some time with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but this was before they announced the Switch 2 update. This was just a coincidence. He took James' advice and downloaded Poinpy, and is getting on with it now that he gave it some time. James is not, because it did weird things to his Pixel's home screen. Lastly, he was inspired by our RetroActive on Sonic Mania to take a look at Sonic Origins Plus.
Greg closes out New Business with thoughts on Rhythm Heaven Grove, now that he has completed the game. The quest for Greats and Perfects is long and arduous. Speaking of Switch 2 updates, Greg got some time with the now-updated Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
After a break, we tackle a couple Listener Mail. Send them here. The first question asks us to insert firearms into games where they are wholly inappropriate. The second asks us if we know any games with particularly poor endings. I see you, Xenoblade X... and also Xenoblade X again, somehow.
