Title: Running four monitors with a gamecube.....?
Post by: traxion02 on December 15, 2003, 12:50:02 AM
allright, so right now my gamecube is hooked up to my comptuer and runs off my cpu monitor.  I want to know if theres any way that I can get 3 more monitors (i have two old ones at home) and then make it so that the game can be split for four people and when you play multiplayer that each player gets their own monitor.  I know i can get a vga splitter, but i don think that would work....is there anything out there that could accomplish this?

It would be messing with your computer itself. You whould have to divide the screen that you would normall look at on one and divide it amound the four. It can be done, I just don't know how.

If it is even possible to split the screen in fourths, each monitor will be running the image at 320x240 which would look not good, especially on a computer monitor.  If you want a screen for everyone, buy four gamecubes, four copies of the game, and four tv's.  And a LAN.

i think phead is right. So you are out of luck unless the games you wanna do that with is 1080, Mario Kart or Kirby - the 3 games that currently support LAN.
