It's my most wanted Gamecube game.
Does anyone know if it is still coming out on January 15?

It's definitely at the beginning of January. EBGames says it is January 4th as does PGC and IGN.

I love Harvest Moon, but I don't want to buy it for $50 and it may be a long while before I can find it used (Harvest Moon games are notoriously rare)

Yeh, when it comes out it will definately be $40.
But get it soon. Don't wait to get it used. Usually Harvest Moon games go up in price after they have been released. And I'm talking about used games. Harvest Moon on the Super NES is nearly $60 ,used, at most online sites.
