Title: LOTR: Return of the King
Post by: Molobert on November 05, 2003, 04:48:44 PM
Well I was supposed to get this game today from Gamestop.com. The package was on my doorstep, and I was excited because I've been waiting for ROTK for a long time now. However when I opened it GLADIUS was inside . So now, I have to return it and wait for another week or so for the actual game to show up (hopefully it won't be Gladius again).
Anyway, does anyone have ROTK, and if so how is it?

I always detested the idea of the LOTR console games. LOTR isn't, and never will be, a hack-and-slash story.

HOW DARE YOU DIIS LOTR GAMES, THEY MAY BE A LITTLE REPETTIVE BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE NOT FUN. TAKE THE TWO TOWERS FOR EXAMPLE. THAT WAS REPETIVE BUT IT DID HAVE A MEDIUM BIT OF DEPTH. 4 CHARACTERS AND GREAT GRAPHICS

I have both the Two Towers and Return of the King. I can honestly say, that while their systems are similar, Return of the King plays much better and looks much better. Plus with the added Co-Op mode, it just seems to be a worthy succesor to the Two Towers. However, I must admit that I haven't played much of the Return of the King, because I'm afraid of ruining the story for myself. If you haven't read the book, I'd reccomended waiting to play it. I know I am going to, but it's very very HARD.
