If you ever wondered the main reason why this happens.

still not as bad as the one they made us sit through at work every two months for a good few years before they presumably realized nobody was taking the overacting in the first part seriously.

Because youtube embeds don't work on any remotely modern browser. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0It68YxLQQ)

I'd respond to The Perm, but this is what your message looks like, so I don't know what you are referencing....

now I could quote it first... but that's too much work, especially from a cellphone, and on limited time.
maybe you could double paste your youtube(?) link before putting brackets around one of them?
thanks :)

Seriously. I don't know why I even bother with youtube embeds anymore. They don't seem to work on anything.

I get the same thing, presumably because I use Brave Browser, which blocks a whole ton of ads and trackers as part of their package.

Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and even Internet Explorer 10 show YouTube embeds in the exact same way.

it's due to the youtube inbeds being HTTP and some of us opting for more security while browsing on HTTPS

that's why you have to remove the S in httpS before embedding your youtube links

I think the Sandy Hook video is much better and with an actual message that kinda makes a point.
Your work video is just badly acted, and easily forgettable.... like most corporate "training" videos.

But do they ever even announce the name of the shooters in these incidents?
The shooting incident itself gets made famous, but I don't remember any of the recent incidents having a named assailant being "etched into the annals of history" so to speak.

There was a time when their names were spread about, but that practice has largely stopped. CNN still boldface says their names. It's easier to name the Colombine shooters than it is more recent ones. The media is getting better at not publicizing the names of shooters. Also, the sheer numbers makes herostratic fame seeking a complete waste of time. People just have too short of attention spans.
