Title: Top Gear Rally GBA developer Tantalus enveloped
Post by: Bill Aurion on August 30, 2003, 01:43:50 PM
It seems that GBA, XBox, and PS2 developer Tantalus has awed Ninty enough to be bought.  Though Top Gear Rally is a really neat looking game, I don't really see why Ninty has taken them in.  Hopefully more details will be unveiled soon...

some details are definalty needed, becouse in the interview that they link to on the news story the developer says this:

"We have a couple of other GBA titles in development that we can't talk about at this stage, and we have a PS2 and X Box game in development as well. It's a busy period for us right now, which is great. "

looking at some of the screen shots for top gear rally, they look quite impressive though. i wonder what the ps2 and xbox game they were working on is? chances are its coming to gc now if the news is true.

Yeah, I saw the thing about them making Xbox and PS2 games too.  Guess we'll just have to wait and see what side is the correct one...

Irony...  I remember an online Sony game a long while back that had tanks and was named Tantalus.  Any relation?

and they make unreal games? That is great news because Nintendo could really use a fast paced FPS :0
