Look like I have to return the one I just got It have dust under the screen. I will get a new one next week though. Hopefully the new one will be perfect. As for the color, I love it. It look sexy and unique. The red color on the outside shell actually look very metallic and cool. The flame red one might have the same look and feel. The black color look a little bit dull and not as shiny as the red color though. It is so cool, I love the dual red/black color.

I figured that only a rather limited number of the Boktai GBASP were produced so I find it surprising that you could return it and have it replaced with another.  How much did the system cost you anyway, because admittedly that is one sweet looking color combo, especially considering that I'm kind of undecided between a flame and onyx SP.  Also where did you buy it.

I just get the new Boktai unit, look so sweet If you deciding between the flame and oynx color, keep in mind that the flame color is more metallic than the oynx color. In fact the black color on the Boktai unit is rather dull and from what I saw in other ppl oynx units, they are the same (a littl ebit dull, not very metallic).

About the exchange, I spoke to the sale person of the web site I bought from (www.ncsx.com) and explain the problem to her. She is very nice and set up the exchange for me. I think they probably have 10+ units (the retailer usually stock the limited edition and have them for couple of months before they run out anyway). I'm fairly happy with the new unit. The screen is perfect and in fact much better than the screen of the platinum sp that I had (that one have light blue strip when using frontlight on the screen toward to the bottom of the unit, wellknown problems in some sp units). The boktai unit I got have perfect screen but the outer shell casing have minor imperfection (which is most likely due ot the plastic casting process from Nintendo). They are very small and I saw similar things on many other new sp units so I don't really want to exchange it again (especially since I like the screen on this unit much more than many other sp I saw).
