When does animal crossing 2 come out?
cause i just rented animal crossing and it is a really fun game,but i was just wondering if the second one is coming out any time soon

They haven't even announced AC2 yet.

It has indeed been announced. It isn't expected to be out until next summer, though.

Actually, that, mouse_clicker, is the Japanese only game that is basically the US version with other enhancements.  The game is probably not coming to the North America because it is basically the same game already released here.  Link.

No, in the article Miyamoto specifically says "a sequel to Animal Forest/Crossing"- technically there's only been one Animal Forest since the N64:DD and a whole bunch of additions. They are indeed relasing an updated version of Animal Forest + (Animal Forest ++?) that includes some additions the western version had it didn't, but Miyamoto has stated there will indeed be a sequel.

I honestly hope they delay AC2 for their next system.  Plenty of enough time to add an insane amount of variability.

And online support- I doubt Nintendo could get a very good online system off the ground for the Cube.

one things for sure, the US will get AC2 before us Aussies even get the first one...

nah they wont, i figured they would but, we get AC in october i think i shall pre order it

*sigh*

Here in the UK we're not even getting the original Animal Crossing until 2004 (if then). I know I could just import it, but I'm really disappointed that it's never gotten a release here to date, as it was a game I was really looking forward to. Hopefully Nintendo will sort their act out and get the sequel (if there is one) released over here some time close to the US release.

Hey, maybe they skip AC completely and release the eReader with AC2 in Europe?
