Title: Wheres the money!?!?!?
Post by: SolidSamus on August 15, 2003, 08:16:06 AM
Why does nintendo have to release all the most anticipated games at once??? PN03, Mario Kart, Twin Snakes, SC2, Wrestlemania, F Zero, and viewtiful joe! thats 350 dollars right there! Thats just like them, to unleash a juggernaut of games in a 3 month span. Looks like im gonna have to sell my body down in hollywood.
Not to mention all of the futurama, family guy, and simpsons box sets that are also coming out in the next 2 months!!!

I know what you mean, and you didint even mention half the games I need to get for Cube this year. And you dont even get money if you donate blood here, so thats out too. They expect as to give it becauseits the right thing to do...yeah right.

Yeah, a lot of games are certainly going to get lost in the shuffle again this year. Nintendo is learning that they can release big titles during other quarters though, with the big success they had with Zelda and Pokemon this year, and next year's February Final Fantasy release. The rest of the industry just needs to follow suit.

If I was going to get all those games you said at the start it would cost me over $600 brand new. You think you've got it bad.

It's even worse for us Aussies. By the way things are going, all the great third party games will get discontinued mere weeks after their launch here. *Looks over at Burnout 2 and Skies*
I'll either have to sell my body and get all the games on their launch, or um... Aw hell, selling my body sounds like an adventure.

That's the prime disadvantage of capitalism... Grrr... I HOPE they drop the prices soon, EUR60 per game IS TOO MUCH.

I personally think 40 usd for a prime release is a good deal, and secondary releases should be 30. Thats the price point i want and i don't think that is too much to ask.

yeah, have a heart for the aussies - we pay minimum aus$89 per game, ts2 was aus$109, and most others are $99 and you all think you don't have any money??? gar - at least we'll get the games more spaced out... as-in, SIXTY-NINE YEARS after everyone else, or not at all. which means importing - YAY! even MORE costly... ok, i stop now.

Well for what it's worth you can rest $10 easier. Seems to be forgotten that VJ is a mere $40 new....praise to be to teh Capcom! Personally I limited myself to 3 absolutely must own titles and everything else I will get when I can. Those titles are SCII (Fully paid pre-order), VJ ($5 down on it...friend of mine is paying of the rest), and Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (I'd add Friend of Minerla Town here too but I have yet another friend of mine who is buying me this game as well...collecting and cashing in favors is a good thing I tell you!)

Hey, stop complaining about release dates, Aussies. You get Mario Kart before the US and Europe. *runz*

I wasn't aware it was released for the PSX. I've looked on a bunch of places and can't find it. Do you know where I can find it?

If you have the cartride you have the best running version. I found that most of the PSX comps from Square have "problems". And the FMVs added are basically only for the begining and the end, so their is no point. (I own all the comps.)
