Title: Help with RGB Scart Cable
Post by: FuGiTiVe on August 14, 2003, 11:15:31 PM
I just got an RGB Scart Cable and connected it up correctly but the picture quality hasnt changed at all from the normal composite cable supplied with the GC. The cable is gold plated and its just a wire from the connector to the GC to the scart head. All the pins are on the scart head, so i cant think why its still showing a crap picture. I have an RGB cable for my PS2 and that dramactically improves the picture and graphics quality, but why doesnt the GC one?

I'm not a scart expert, since it's more of a Euro thing.  However, I believe that a scart cable carries multiple signals, both RGB and composite, so it's not outside the realm of possibility that you've still got a composite signal running through it.  Need more data to really know what's going on.
