It was really fun watching the whole show. The lack of a big new announcement will disappoint some, and cynically you can think of this as a long 4.5 hour ad to buy Nintendo and Super Mario Odyssey.
But it was really cool and cute to see such a wild (and sometimes cruel) competition using a lot of Nintendo games.

I absolutely loved all the Gameboy. Seeing Tetris and Super Mario bros. Deluxe was pretty amazing and it feels good to know that Nintendo still remembers. I have the best memories with SMB Deluxe.

I watched about 5 minutes of this before losing interest, just not my thing. However, the tweets from one James Jones during the Nintendo World Championships were quite entertaining.

I watched the whole thing live and loved it. They need to do it every year.
