Title: Wireless Mario Karting
Post by: Pale on July 31, 2003, 07:56:56 PM
Linksys is releasing an adaptor that will convert the gamecube broad band adaptor into a wire free model.  This is very cool for those of you wanting to lan it up in different rooms of a house.  My question is, will it require an existing wireless router/access point if you just want to play lan games...

too bad its so freaking expensive.

To actualy validate posting, the article says that there are two channels for the dealy. One for system to system communication, and one for connecting to a previously existing wireless network.

Very interesting. Although it is a bit on the expensive side, it is cheaper than a  wireless bridge which kinda acts the same way.

Wow thats awsome, but will it work for next-gen consoles? If I'm going to shell out that much money it better last me a lifetime.
