Announcements:
The following players have died:
NWR_Insanolord - Eric Pressman / Mafia (Killed by Vote) Mop it up - Townie (Killed by Mafia)
Took you all long enough to kill Insanolord. Haven't you players learned anything from me? Well, this buys the townies a little more time but they're still not that far out of danger. And with the low voting and fear of the Borg, who knows what side may yet end up winning.
The deadline today will be 1:00 AM EST Saturday Feb. 17. I've given you all an extra hour because afterwards, we take an intermission for the weekend so let's take care of business before pleasure.
Finally, here is today's great moment in Picard leadership!
Engage!

Well, thank goodness the townies managed to take down one of the mafia members. Hopefully we can get on a roll and keep going with it. I'll admit I didn't listen and for Insano, but good job to the ones who did.
I'm not sure how much time I'll have to post tomorrow, so I'll get my vote in now. While I'm still not sure about Silenced, he was right in pointing towards Insano.
I'm going to vote Stratos for now. While he did vote for Insanolord, it's an effective strategy for mafia members to vote out their own at the last minute when the vote works against them. Certainly there's at least one Mafia member hanging back, but we also have to expect some voting participation from some of the active players. I'm open to other suggestions, but I'm going with my gut for now.

The Dreaded Lucario breaker of worlds! Has been passed out in his SpacePub for the past 3 days. Now that he is awake, Heads will roll, Mafia heads!

You know, I get where your logic is coming from, TofuFury, but I could also be accused of being mafia if I didn't vote last night, being as I voted every night so far this game. So I'm kinda stuck in this situation. I've tried to faithfully follow the townie voting pattern being as I don't have a lot of free time, and I also don't want my stray vote activating the borg. I was pretty much following Mop it up's vote, but now she's gone.

Mop was a part of my baby alliance and I thought she was an all but confirmed townie. The bright spot: we didn't lose a power role and we were finally able to get one off of the Mafia team.
Most of what I've said before I think still stands. We've got too many people hiding in the background and it's time to drag them out into the light.
vote Nickmitch placeholder. I think my suspicion on Tofu has relaxed, but I still have my eye on nickmitch and lolmonade.

Care to elaborate why I'm on your **** list?
For now, Vote Stogi. I was going to keep my vote limited to prior votes, but looked back on prior days to be surprised he has been inactive while he is usually a pretty active mafia player. Could be coincidence, but I don't have any clear leads on mafia, only a few I suspect to still be townie.

You've been relatively or completely absent this game. D1 all you did was level a vote at Lucario, which I've said before is the safest vote to make in the game. D2 you were absent while everything went down and D3 you returned and joined in a vote against Perm, who still up to this point has done nothing to give off any sort of bad vibe. You held on his vote for a long time and it seems like you tried capitalizing on a possible wagon.
You tried voting for Lucario again before you edited your post, but now you've changed it to Stogi, who I personally see no reason to go after. If he had a power role, he wouldn't lie low and would definitely be making some sort of power play. That's just his style.

I think day 2 was the only one I missed out on posting. When I took my vote off of The Perm day 3, I didn't want to bandwagon onto insanolord out of doubt as to whether he was or wasn't mafia, and knew he was going to be voted out one way or another. Tofufury's vote against Stratos already shows that you can cast suspicion into a vote if you think it was an astroturf vote on an already decided vote anyway.
Maybe Lucario is an easy target, I've avoided voting for him in some games where he's ended up mafia. I think his consistently silly posting makes it hard to gauge what side of the fence he's on, and in absence of any other good guesses, I went with him before you correctly stated I switched my vote today to Stogi instead.
Why Stogi? I think it's good to try and root-out some of the inactives. He's atypically quiet, and in a game where we're already 5 townies down without any certifiable leads, trying to draw quiet people out of the dark is prudent to me.
Take that for what you will.

Well good. We took one out. I'm going to have to carefully read everyone's posts and do some detective work. I'm glad I switched my vote on a whim. It's too bad Mop_it_up got taken out. She was obviously on the right track.

This turn on Stratos is a bit too sudden for my taste.

Kinda makes you not blame the inactive folks for not voting when helping vote out a mafia member gets you targeted. The vote changer could have easily turned the vote into a tie due to the lack of turnout.
Diving home from work, should be home before thread lock. Vote Nickmitch as a self preservation placeholder. Not inclined to vote Stogi because Mop it up said she was trusting him.

Those are absolutely fair points. You can only do so much when real life gets in the way. I still stand my concerns I listed, but for now I will vote with the majority. I acted out of impulse, mainly because I wasn't sure if I wouldn't be able to vote today.
While I will remove my vote for Stratos, I still have a check about that last minute vote.
I'm voting Nickmitch with the majority. I think what Silenced said about focusing on lurkers makes sense. Players shouldn't be punished for playing the game.

This day is over and this thread is locked.
Final tally:
Nickmitch - 3 Stratos - 1 TofuFury - 1 (A vote for Stogi was changed to TofuFury by Picard)
Night actions are due in an hour. And then this game goes on intermission for the weekend with Day 5 being posted late Sunday night. Enjoy the weekend gamers and see you then.
