Title: I own a PS4 now! Let's be PSN buddies! Buddies of PSN!

So a kind seller on GameTZ, a game trading site I frequent, sold me a slightly used PlayStation 4. It runs well, isn't too loud, and is still under warranty. I don't have PS+ yet, as the PS4 was a big investment already, but soon enough I will! Looking for friends from NWR to be friends and buddies and pals and compadres with. Hooray!

I have a PS3 with a PSN ID. It makes me wonder, is your PS3 account transferable to PS4?

PSN accounts are universal across all Sony platforms. I use mine on my PS3, PS4 and Vita.
Edit: Also, I should point out that my PSN name is, appropriately enough, insanolord.

I bought a PS4 today. Could people direct me into being a knowledgeable ps4 user?
I am ThePermMan because I guess there is another ThePerm running around...how? how? I should have picked Permethius or Perminator. Or UltraRaperM

I've only used my ps4 to play Bluray movies about 5 other times. Anyhow. It won't read bluray discs. It seems to load DVDs and games just fine, but calls Blurays "unrecognized discs"
Before I'd only used the player to watch Goonies, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Dracula, The Mummy, and Frankenstein. I bought Alien:resurrection and it wouldn't work. I tried The Dark Knight and it wouldn't work. I put in Uncharted 4 and it loaded the game. I put in Something Wicked this way Comes on DVD and it loaded the DVD. Then I put in Alien:Resurrection and it worked(and it wasn't bad actually)
Then when I got done with that movie I tried another disc and it's back to not working.
So, I turn off the ps4 and now it loads the dark knight. So, I take it out and eject it and now it won't load Alien 3. I turn off the console and it forgets there is even a disc in there. I take it out and put it back in. It still won't read it. It loads Something Wicked this Way comes just fine.
I vacuumed the ps4 and am going to leave it off for a couple of hours until it cools down. Does anyone have any magical advice other than taking it apart? I've only had this fucker since the end of March, pretty shitty it's already doing this ****.
edit: it loads my disc every time if I flip the system upside down. I wonder whats loose, or dirty in there?

Now my PS4 switched from not being able to play Blurays to not being able to load DVDs, but now it loads Blurays fine.

Why does PSN hate me? Earlier this year they deleted my PSN account that (I assume because I hadn't used it in a couple of years) and now my password doesn't work on my new account and they won't send me the password reset email! >:(
