Here's hoping North America RSVPs in time.

The 5th anniversary eShop sale that recently began in Japan will be moving to the old PAL regions, but with a slight twist.

Beginning with this week's eShop updates in Europe and Australia, a large number of 3DS and Wii U titles will be on sale - unlike Japan, where the offer is only for 3DS games.

The games, with percentage discounts and temporary prices, are listed below. The sale runs from 9 - 23 June.

Wii U

3DS

There are some really great games for less 3 euros in that sale.

Personally i cannot recommend Zen Pinball 3d enough -- it's the best version of the game imo, and definitely the best in term of price/amout of tables you get.

On Steam and other platforms Excalibur table (Zen's best pinball table by far) alone costs more than that and there three other rather decent tables in there.

Some pretty good prices there. Not sure if I will buy anything though. I will have a look on the shop when the sale starts

Thinking of getting Earthbound and F-Zero SNES. Earthbound mainly because of its stellar reputation, but I'm not 100% sure yet of F-Zero. I've played GX and the N64 one already, not sure how much I'll enjoy this relative "downgrade." Any experts here with some insight?

I'm thinking Pullblox and Pokemon Trading Card Game.

Can vouch for PTCG being hella fun! The menus are a little clunky initially and the learning curve goes from hard to easy, but very very fun. I ran a Scyther/Hitmonchan deck that virtually broke the game, so maybe don't do that if you want some challenge to remain, but yeah great cardgame.
