Title: Zelda- Wind Waker Help

i'm at the part where i'm supposed to go back to forsaken fortress and rescue aryll, but i would like to beat all of the side quests first. i don't even know where to start, though. can someone help out with this? also, how do you get the ballad of gales?

Personally I find it rather amazing that someone would enter the forum and create two new threads that are almost identical to the stickies. READ THE STICKIES!
Anyways, to answer your question, you aren't far enough in the game yet to do all the side quests. Go rescue your sister then do the side quests.

To get the ballad of gales, head toward Mother & child island and look for a really big tornado. Head directly into it and the wind god will appear, shoot him with arrows until you defeat him.

About 3 arrows will do the trick. Also, you can go into any cyclone and the wind god will appear.

I think you're assuming that you're near the end. Sorry, the game isn't that short.
