Title: Team Fortress Help!!!
Post by: M@ngosim64 on July 09, 2003, 06:14:16 AM
First of all, I must clarify that I have the technical competence of a colobus monkey. Now that that´s out of the way, I need someone to help me out with a little problem; I just recently acquired internet access and I wanted to see what the whole Team Fortress fuzz was all about. I (obviously) had Half-Life v1.1.0.6 installed, but every time I tried to log on to WON (via both the Half-Life screen and the TFC screen) it said something about an outdated executionable. When I looked for upgrades via the (old) Sierra updater, an error screen popped up which claimed I had no connection. Afterwards, I downloaded the new autoupdater. This would be fine and dandy if it weren´t for the fact that the exact same f*cking error message pops up! What the bleeding f*ck´s going on? I´m running the dreadful Windows XP (an old version; I´m far too lazy to update it); maybe that´s the root of my problems? Please help!!!!!
