they include A certain Magical index, RWBY, Fullmetal alchemist, Highschool of the dead, Code breaker, One piece and my fav Highschool DxD ACMI: not boring if you watch past the first episode... RWBY: now this is what really grinds my gears, RWBY western? what is that supposed to mean? western's can't make anime? RWBY is huge success with millions of fans worldwide the guys at rooster teeth have really up the bar since RvB, and it's the only non-Japanese anime to be dubbed in Japanese and the only western anime that is doing really well, so comebacks to that? Fullmetal Alchemist: One of my favs on the list with a plot that is so good it's hard to miss and you should watch it, really. High school of the dead: if the Walking dead(one of my fav shows along with BB and game of thrones) meet anime it's a nice take on the zombie genre. Code breaker: interesting but not weird kina o.k One piece: Fantastic, but masterpiece? no it has it's flaws like WTF moments. HIGHSCHOOL DxD: OMG so good it nails everything that is japan in one anime myth, monsters, tits, and heart all in one so good. so any thoughts now?

The only anime I've watched is Mobile Suit: Gundam Wing and some of the Studio Ghibli films. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

I can't say I like Trigun. How they tried to mix seriousness and the comedy elements just didn't mesh for me. I liked the comedy, but every time they got serious it just soured things. If you want to see an example of such a mix working see no further than Cowboy Bebop.
Go watch Ghost in the Shell. The new series is a bit hit and miss though, but the newest episode is quite good.
Kill La Kill is fantastic mix of insane fighting and comedy.
Gundam SEED is a good watch for mecha action.
Cannot stress how bad Gundam 00 is. Bad characters, bad dialogue, bad story, visually obnoxious. The only good thing about it was the sexually ambiguous character Tieria Erde.
Gundam Build Fighters is what you get when Bandai says **** it and takes the **** out of it's own property throwing away even the flimsiest cover of not being a commercial for toys. Surprisingly watchable.
Steins;Gate was something somebody here recommended and I recommend in turn. Want some mind bending stuff that isn't visually mind bending?
Attack on Titan is alright if you can get pass the fact that everyone has exactly two emotional states. Almost asleep subdued quiet and 100% SCREAMING BECAUSE THIS IS HOW PEOPLE EMOTE.
Mad Bull 34 is a great watch if you want your brains blown out by the insanity within.
Space Dandy is a fantastic psychedelic trip in space in search for Boobies.
(The) Slayers is a really fun take on DnD.
Samurai Champloo is winning if you like Cowboy Bebop but with swords.

Whoa whoa whoa, no hating on 00 Gundam. It's one of the better Gundam series in recent memory. Now, the move is suitably terrible, but shows like Gundam AGE? Oh man, what garbage. Great suit designs though.
If you want the best and most ridiculous Gundam series look no further than G Gundam.

I. I did watch past the first episode. Still boring. II.I don't care whether it is western or not. I just felt like saying that because the general reaction of anime fans is to panic and attack when they hear of westerns. III.Tried watching it. Just ain't for me IV. And a whole lot of fanservice. The plot is meh. The tone of the story swings around worst then anything I've ever seen. "ZOMBIES GUYZ" goes to "GROUP MENTAL PROBLEM" goes to "BOOBS" and swings between all of those all the time. V. Haven't seen it is what I mean. VI. My only problem is when it reaches the conflict on the island and then takes forever for them to reach the climax and it just drags. Given, Oda does a great job on keeping you interested longer then you should, but still a problem with me. VII. It was boring boobs. *shrugs*

That was the anime. The manga version has a lot less silly crap and progresses faster as well. Only problem with the manga is that Nightow's artwork is a pain to try and follow and you sometimes have no idea what is happening.

watching hellsing Ultimate (the remastered version of hellsing) at the moment so good and so much more detail put into the anime and the dubbing is superb,

Oh! I'm looking at the code you used and you are actually using the image tags correctly. Congratulations!
The problem is the name of the file: http://file:///J:/Boop.gif That is not going to work. Is this something you are trying to load from your computer? That is probably the issue. You would be best to use an actual web link in those img tags in order to properly show the picture. For instance, if you were to create a Photobucket account, you could upload images from your computer to the Photobucket site and then the site will create links for your pictures that you can then use to post in between the img tags and show them off.

Valkyria Chronicles
The game is much better despite gameplay induced craziness like "Sneaking" a tank into a garrisoned city or a tank manned exclusively by one guy. The game's cut scenes are just better and overall has much better pacing. The Anime for no real good reason stretches certain things and ends up compressing the hell out of the last act where the tank gets ditched for reasons along with a bunch of plot threads.
The show goes hilariously off model at times with bust sizes on one character varying from a B to an E cup from scene to scene. The sound design is very weak and uninspired.
The music is almost a crime as to how badly used it is. It straight up uses the game's music which is excellent for the game, but the show chops the hell out of it destroying the flow. Plus the game music doesn't have any Pavlovian like beats to it since it is meant to be game music, so when something on screen does happen the music is just not there to back it up.
Go play the game instead.
The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan
Not sure what this show is trying to achieve. It exists by coasting on it's predecessors characters and nothing much happens. It's constantly implied there is something strange happening yet not. Mikuru continues to be sexually assaulted by her female classmates.

I would get around to playing Valkyria Chronicles in a heartbeat if they ported it to Vita. They already ported it to Steam, and it's the kind of thing that would sell decently on Vita, at least enough to make it worth the trouble.

Just play it on PC. You can regularly get it for $5 and if it doesn't work you can get it refunded through Steam. It's system requirements are stupid low now days and it has all the DLC in one package. There are 2-3 serious bugs though, but they have workarounds. It's probably not going to see a Vita release.
Funny enough the initial PS3 release somewhat undersold, but the PC release did gang busters coming in ahead of even Call of Duty. It's a shame the squeals are likely going to stay dead on the PSP.

The personality of Alicia and Welkin in the VC anime made me want to rip my eyes out. Alicia is a tsundere and Welkin is a retard. Terrible anime. Terrible tribute. Play the game.
The sequels are bad and need to be retconned or buried and never mentioned ever again. SEGA took a good thing and drove it into the ground.

The game is great with the reveals which got butchered in the Anime naturally. But yeah, the characters are crazy out of whack. Play the game.
I haven't played the sequels, are they really that bad?

I think it is really just a personal problem, but I found both titles to go in a direction which was poor. Kinda like how the direction the Sonic franchise choose to go after Sonic Heroes. I really liked the first VC plot because it was satisfying and simple. It wasn't an anime trope and I liked it for that reason. VC2 is an anime trope, VC3 felt like a spinoff. VC2 pushed the story in a terrible direction, VC3 just tried to show another side of EW2 and seemed mediocre to me.
Most reactions tend be mixed with the sequels so you would have to decide yourself, but neither plots were interesting or satisfying and I feel like I just wasted time.

Had a look at some of the footage for VC 2 and 3. 2 is terribad. It looks bad even for a PSP game, but the gameplay is bad with tiny maps and horrific grind. Then there is the whole fucking school thing.
3 seems more tolerable, but again they might as well make a new game since it's just doesn't look good and the classes are even more stupid. Also again with the small maps.
Yeah if they buried these games and made something entirely new sequel it would be for the best.

Any recent stuff worth watching? Sailor Moon Crystal went down hill fast. It feels like I am Watching DBZ:Magical Girl edition. So little happening so slowly with yelling, crying and ass pulls everywhere. Only thing missing now is the squat **** screaming, but that wouldn't be very lady like.

Looking at RWBY episode 1/2 right now. Can't say that I am impressed. It would look perfectly acceptable if it was an in-game engine cut scene being rendered, hell it even has those glitches you see in games. But it isn't, so it comes off as lazy and the overly flat use of colour make it look closer to Flash animation. The flat art direction is made worse by the lack of detail in the world to the point where unimportant people are literal silhouettes. The Reboot series one has better and more detail in 1994.
Most of the animation of the bones of the characters seem alright, but I suspect most of it is from the can if it isn't a fight scene. Dumb fucks used Poser. Source Film Maker might have taken them further if they were able to write their own or mod the existing cel shader.
The voice work is very take it or leave it. Sound lack range and impact when needed. The music was ok, but felt disconnected similar to how VC's music felt.
It's "Anime" by taking those tropes and compiling in the the worse way possible. This is not just bad Anime, it's fanfic. Giggling schoolgirl Mary Sues with big weapons in Hogwarts highschool with Final Fantasy schizophrenic tech is not compelling.
It also doesn't seem to understand why Anime is Anime since it Anime comes from it's limitations and the artist's skill in breaking and working with them.

quite a lot (an I mean a lot) of people love this anime. but the thing that's great about rooster teeth is there is something for everyone RedvsBlue maybe (not anime but still good, 1st season's a bit slow) Plus RWBY's Music is fuckin amazing.

Rooster Teeth lost me around season 3 of Red Vs Blue. It just wasn't funny any more when it wrote itself into a hole instead of making funny jokes about a bunch of idiots with guns stuck inside a canyon glutch in the ass end of space. Plot should have been the last thing they should have cared about.
It wasn't that RWBY's music was bad, it felt disconnected to what was happening. It could be fantastic for all I know, but attached to the that **** show means for me, that is where it dies.

I just want to point out to that RWBY has won multiple awards for best original Concept and Music. and RvB is watched my millions and is the longest running web-series on the internet since 2001 with it coming into it's 13th season.
