Title: Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros.
Post by: Phil on May 21, 2015, 10:39:49 PM
This releases tomorrow! Anyone going to pick it up? I thought about going digital with this one, as it seems to be a game you'd always want the system instead of changing 3DS games from the slot. However, I'm a sucker for physical. :)

I've never played Puzzle & Dragons before, so I'm really looking forward to both games!

I'm kind of interested, but I don't really know much about it. I downloaded the demo, so I should play that to figure it out.

I need to check out the demo as well. I tried of Pokemon Shuffle, but got tired of it.

I just got home from Best Buy with the game. Looking forward to cracking it open for the Memorial Day weekend!

Hi-level of play of this is crazy.

There are meta-games over meta-games in there:

Ffffffff-

After seeing that video, I now have a reason to buy this game. Damn it.

Love match three with good balance, love RPGs with insanely in-depth stories. Looks like PuzDra has me.

I played the demo and it didn't really grab me. All it did was make me want to go back and play more of one of the Puzzle Quest games I already have, which seem like they have more depth and strategy in the puzzle mechanic.

I tried out the demo, I like it better than Pokémon Shuffle since it seems less random, and the team setup seems more in-depth, though it's tough to tell since the demo just has two presets. It isn't something I'll rush out to get, and I also don't care about the "Z" portion of the game, but I'll grab it at some point.

Picked up this game, I've been studying my combos and I can consecutively get three per turn though four is a bit difficult. It's just a matter of getting used to the gestures needed to pull off the combos so I assume it will take time.

I found that this web version of the board might be useful for training:

It works on Wii U browser by the way, but not on original 3DS browser.

Hey! Neat! I'll have to try it on Wii U since I can't see what I'm doing on my phone.
